We are a Husband and Wife Team who live in Starke, Florida. We have a special hobby of visiting cemeteries and taking photos and researching our family trees. |
We combine this with tent camping and nature walks in State Parks. We find a cemetery that needs photos and a State Park nearby. We take photos in the morning and enjoy the park the rest of the day.
We only list photos we have taken, If no memorial is listed, we create one.
Our tree research is very extensive; and searching for more each day. We are researching Wise, Vickers, Weeks, Boggs, Tuggle, and many more.
We will delete, correct, add to or Transfer. We ask that to request a transfer that you know of the person or be related. It's our goal to transfer any family member or person, to someone that will remember them.
You may use our photos, if it has our name on the photo; it is not to be removed! Also please give us credit for the photo. We have copies of all the photos we have ever taken. Our photos are for your personal use only and may not be used for profit or be sold without permissiom.
If you don't get an answer quickly to your e-mail, we may be on one of our trips. We usually answer all emails within one hour of receving it.
To the ones who say we do this for the numbers, This is a hobby we enjoy doing, We take our time and commitment very serious. We answer 40-50 edit emails per day and do photo request. We also help others in their search. This is secondary to our visit to Cemeteries to take photos.
To the ones who have no contact information, You are missing out! Need I say more!

|jwhandin Smith Merkl Deans||Robert Glen Smith Sr.|
I am researching my family tree and believe Robert Glen Smith Sr. is my fathers natural Dad. He was married back in August 9th, 1944. They had one child, my father, Thomas M. Deans. He was given the name Deans, because his real mother Louvenia Forehand died when he was 8 months old and her sister, Christine Forehand Deans adopted and raised him. I believe Robert Glen Smith is my paternal grandfather because his mother Vera Rose was married to a August Rudolph Merkl and they had a son, Robert Glen Merkl. I cant find where his name changed to Smith so far. But I have marriage certificates for his first marriage to a Gladys Eudora Brinkly, then to my real grandmother Louvenia Forehand then to Dorothy Mae Hogue. Any help you can give is appreciate as I search through my geneology. Thank you!
Julie M Deans (smith)(merkl) ???

|ValSG||baby Inez Wicker|
Hi, just wanted to let you know, for the edits that I proposed to you about her, that I had just recorded this baby in the census, just outside Bonifay, with her parents George L Wicker & Monette (Kelley) [she later married a Gilmore, as her memorial link will show]. I found George's birth & death date, died in DeSoto county, Fla, with his SSDI showing his last residence in Panama City with the same dates, so it is him, but, I don't know where buried. Will look some more and let you know if I find him, to link to the baby.
In the census, April 1940, the baby, Inez E Wicker, was shown as 7 months. I then found her death record of 1942 in Holmes county as Inez Estelle Wicker.
I put in for the edit of her birth year as 1939, because of that census indicating born Sep 1939 and when looking at her gravestone photo, it indeed shows 1939. Her parents had married in 1938 in Holmes county.
Just wanted to let you know how and why I put in for the edits that I did. Many thanks, Val

Thanks for creating his memorial page and posting the photo. I appreciate your work, and have no complaints or requests.

According to the information I have his name is correct as posted. The grave site marker should be installed within a few weeks. I will add a photo to his memorial page and if my information is wrong I will change the memorial. At this time I prefer to keep the memorial as posted.

I didn't want to argue...just combine the two...yours seemed to be the most accurate....and at lease you respond...is it too tale to put yours back up...the other one did not have the wives listed or the information on Martha.
