I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area, and have been an amateur genealogist for about 25 years.Regarding transfers:Please follow the Find A Grave guidelines and also please explain your relationship in the request.
Albert Henry Tyler Dave -- Found your name through memorials you've added for Albert Henry Tyler and family in Plainfield Twp. Cemetery in Will County, Illinois. Not too many of us with Tyler surnames around. I am a descendant of Roger Tyler's son Peter.
My Tyler connections lived in Connecticut and then in Berkshire County, Massachusetts before moving west to Iowa. I, too, have been a family historian for about 20 years. You can connect with me at email@example.com.
RE: Hamilton McDowell Yes, I noticed and appreciate that, but it's best to post the actual transcription on the memorial before it becomes more unreadable. As the many people who read the memorial copy it, it will be preserved in many family records for generations. Thanks for helping to make this happen. It's also interesting to read these headstones that have a verse or other information that we don't generally have on our cryptic modern graveplates.
Hamilton McDowell Thanks for the transfer! This is just a guess, but the verse at the bottom might go something like this: "Death's dark path that must be trod, if you could ever pass to God." (could/would/should) Just a guess. Did you ever write the verse?
RE: Lovice B. (Towne) Tyler Did you see the picture of Alice Tyler I posted this morning? I finally found someone who could tell me who she was. Mr gr grandmother put the name on the picture. Thanks for doing the links/ Dianne
