|Kate Maynard||Thank you|
Thank you very much for adding information about my grandfather Gully Cowsert, Jr. I plan on adding a picture after the funeral. Also I am doing a cemetery project for one of the classes I am taking this semester and I have created a rough map of the cemetery soon. Again thank you.

do you know who Ella Sessom buried in cold creek cemetery belongs to?
|LABG||navy or army?|
Joe, I spoke with Lisa. Robert L. Magill, JR. was in the Navy just as your photo said. He "is" the same Robert who is buried @ Ft. Sam Houston. They just posted it erroneously as the army. Even when transcribing veteran records even they can get it wrong.

|LABG||not near my computer|
Joe, I am in Dallas away from my computer; but I actually thought the same as you did regarding the Magill son & his military service...but his cousin Lisa recognized his photo & knew he was buried @ Ft. Sam Houston where Lora Magill Fulton (their Aunt) was also buried with her commander husband. So, I agree with you...Army or Navy?...I'm stumped! I will call Lisa when I can & see if she knows which is correct. She was 30 years younger than Robert Jr. so she may "not" remember...just that he went into WW2 @ 16...all of their aunts & uncles & her folks are dead.
Thanks for your diligence!

|LABG||father & son memorials|
My best friend is the niece & cousin of these 2 Magill men. I was showing her find-a-grave & looked-up her family, "Magill". She was amazed!
She pointed-out 1 error on her uncle's page. Her uncle & her dad were sadly "too old" to go to WW2. Her Uncle, "Robert L. Magill", was 39 in 1942. But, his SON, ""Robert L. Magill, JR." was 16 when he entered WW2 in 1942 ! (He was by uncle's 1st marriage.) The photo that you added to her Uncle's memorial page is of the Son! Could you please remove it & put it on the son's page?
ROBERT L. MAGILL (dad) = Mem. # 63763021
SON = ROBERT L. MAGILL, JR. =
Mem. # 941908 = buried @ Ft. Sam Houston.
My friend was So Happy to see her cousin's photo! She asked me to thank you for acknowledging him with such respect! I told her you were so good @ honoring people!
Thank You for your help!
~~Lynda (& Lisa, Magill relative.)

Thank you Joe!
I put Dick Peiser's wife's (beautiful) photo there on his page on-purpose. They lived on my husband's grandpa's farm as caretakers for many, many years. Dick thought Ola was the prettiest lady, & I know that he'd love to have her with him. After all when you post a pic it gives you the choice of: if it's the person, a family member, or other.
I'm glad you sent me this note because I have wanted to tell you that I think you do a "fine" job when you make a memorial for someone! Thanks for your diligence!
