I am always on the lookout for unusual names, have added quite a few that are the only one listed, which is hard to do on here.I will always do the edit, but do not write everybody to let them know I did..I get so many edit requests, and do not mind doing them at all...Thanks .I live in Baton Rouge La.Though I have listings in many states, most are within a days drive on my home.I really enjoy fulfilling photo requests, it is like a treasure hunt, and I like knowing I am helping a loved one connect in some small way.I love driving back roads and finding cemeteries in the middle of nowhere.I add veterans of most all the wars,as a small tribute to those that have shaped our country. But I have a special affinity for the guys of World War II.These soldiers are the reason today we are a free country and we are losing them at a rate of over 1100 a day.Take time out to thank them .And then there are the ones that reach out and for whatever reason touch me.I also seek any family last names, such as Cox,Cover,Vaughn.I usually enter the info directly from the grave marker, but will add any info requested. If any errors are found please let me know and I will correct.I do find such peace and love and sadness while walking these sites. Also every one of these I have entered I actually walked the cemetery. Therefore a little more personal to me. .I want to apologize for all my errors. When I first started entering graves 14 years ago, i wrote the info down and transferred it, many times it was raining or I just could not understand my writing. Later years I add from a picture usually. So please forgive my early attempts.|

When I checked close photo requests several days ago, you had claimed the photo request for McWay. When I check yesterday this photo request was open. I claimed it and took the photo. I don't know what happened but it was an open photo request. I thought you had deleted your claim.
I am sorry that there was a mishap. If you had the claim, findagrave would not have allowed me to add the photo.
I can delete my photo and you can add yours. But there is nothing I can do about the photo request.
Please check with Findagrave/edit. Something happened that I did not cause. Sorry for the problem. You have a right to be upset, but I did nothing wrong. Your claim was gone.
