I will gladly accept and enter any corrections and additional information on my memorials and will also transfer memorials according to Find A Grave's guidelines.

Concerning obituaries: I have permission from The Sabine Index to post their obituaries, but I do not have permission from any other publisher,so please do not ask me to add any obituaries from another publisher unless you have that publisher send me written permission.

I'm finding my pictures on Ancestry.com. If you want to use any of my pictures on Ancestry.com, please ask first. Most times I'll say "Yes", but I still like to be asked first.

Thank you.

Steven Kinney
Robert Harper/Martha Albritton Harper
Hi,

My name is Steve Kinney, I am the great grandson of Robert Lee Harper and Martha Albritton Harper. I created a memorial for them a couple years ago, and there is a good chance that I selected the wrong cemetery. I asked my mom, Evelyn Harper Kinney, she told me she visited the gravesite and attended Martha's funeral, and that it was at the Converse Cemetery. Little did I know there were other cemeteries in Converse. I previously requested a photo and a volunteer attempted and responded that they could not find the graves. That could be because my memorial has the incorrect cemetery. Can you verify???? And if possible, could you photograph their tombstone? I live in Northeast La and its about a 5 hr drive to Sabine Parish. Thank you.

Pauline Moss Strickland and her husband Herbert Alton Strickland share a headstone in Oak Grove Cemetery, Sabine Parish, Louisiana

Correction, please.
Pauline Moss Strickland (1916-2007) #91340501 is the wife of Herbert Alton Strickland (1899-1988). They have a joint headstone in Belmont Cemetery, Sabine Parish, Louisiana. Thomas Jasper Strickland (1852-1901) is the father of Herbert Alton Strickland. Thomas died before Pauline was born.

Thank you for the picture of Alice Dyes Blankenship headstone.

Alice's husband, William McKinley Blankenship, is son of Hallie Mae Strickland, who is daughter of Thomas Jasper Strickland.

RE: Nannie Canter
I ordered the DCs for Wiley and for George W. from Mississippi. Someone on Ancestry says that is where he died. I'll let you know what they say.

Nannie Canter
Concerning your inquiry on Nannie:

1880 census for Limestone County, AL for John B. Kennemer that shows his sister Nancy, 26 years - estimated yr of birth 1854 - living with him and his family; also brother Wiley, age 29 and brother, age 19, named George B. Kennemer. Assumption is that the parents are both deceased.

1900 census for Wood County, TX for Nancy and husband Rufus shows Nancy's birth date as Jan 1854.

I located the cemetery for her brother George who died 1948 - see Memorial# 10575393
but I can not find his death certificate (assume Texas) to verify parents. I have not looked for an obit.

Another brother Wiley died supposedly in Hugo, OK in 1934 - I would have to order that DC from the State of Oklahoma to prove up parents' names. I have not looked for an obit.

John B. Kennemer died 1906 in Wood County - no Texas DC found for him. see Memorial# 26894450

Do you recognize any of the brothers' names?

Kathy
