|My wife and I have been doing genealogy research on both of our families since we retired in 1990. |
My lines include (McKay, Cobb, Long, Matney, George, Benefield, Latch). All of my family lines were in the U.S. as far back as I can trace (early 1700's). My sirname migrated from VA to OK via TN, GA, AL, and AR. On my mothers side they migrated from OH to OK via IL and MO.
My wife's lines include:(Skaggs, Gilreath). Her family migrated from KY, SC, and GA to OK. We are willing to share any information we have.
We also take cemetery photos of our family stones as well as for tombstones for cemeteries in our area.
We are the "Find A Grave Keepers" for Waller County, TX

Thanks for your reply. I thought perhaps since her death certificate listed Henry Matney as her Dad and Mom as Sarah Jane Hardist, that you might have information on her Dad. Date of birth and death matched your memorial. Want to thank you again for all the work you have done for this site and the Matney family!

I note your birth date and death date for her - same as on the TX death certificate. Do you know anything else about the persons listed as her parents on the death certificate: Henry Matney, Dad; Sarah Jane Hardist, Mom? So far I haven't found anything else about them, however I know you have done a tremendous amount of work on the Matney family and I DO THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!

Thank you for your contributions to Find A Grave! It helped solve a small mystery about a baby in our family that died @ 2 months old, where, when, and from what illness. Thank you.
Mr Kutra is 3rd g grandfather of my son-in-law. I am asking for your permission to use your headstone photo in our Ancestry tree. I would be sure to credit you for photo. Thank you for your consideration.

Loyd died in Multnomah, Oregon I believe in Portland, not sure yet. Trying to update my family tree. Yes, it is time consuming in both ancestry and Find A Grave but if I find something that I can help with I'll do my best. Blessings, Carolyn

Thank you for making the change, and so quickly. Thank you for all the work you do on F-A-G. It is appreciated.

Can you verify his middle name please? The obituary for his daughter (Annie Dinkins Snow #30271561) says Olan Oglethorpe Dinkins (not Oscar). I have put in an edit to change it to "O", although I believe Oglethorpe is correct.
