Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a native resident of Dayton, Ohio, son of Myron Dale and Emma Lucille (Smith) Poling. My favorite hobby has always been genealogy, but I started seriously studying my roots in 1993. I am single and retired after 30 combined years of service with the Montgomery County Clerk of Courts & Prosecuting Attorney offices. I enjoy entering information at Find A Grave. I have worked on entering information on many cemeteries including the following six cemeteries; Vernon Baptist Cemetery, Clinton County, Ohio; St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, North Star, Ohio; Roxanna Cemetery, Roxanna, Ohio; Mount Holly Cemetery, Mount Holly, Ohio; McKnight Cemetery, Spring Valley, Ohio; Spring Valley Cemetery, Spring Valley, Ohio; also I worked on entering information on Sections A, B & C of Woodland Cemetery, Xenia, Ohio. I have a full subscription to ancestry.com, and access to other sources. I like to research a persons name and add a small bio where possible. Please contact me with corrections / suggestions / links for my entries. Also contact me if you would like me to transfer a relatives memorial page to you.

Thought - If you take time to proof read your work, and do a little research on the person you are creating a memorial page for, you won't receive dozen upon dozens of edit requests!

Thank you for taking time to read my bio.

Ruth Tobias
Bernice Copsey Confer
It's a distant relationship. Arthur Upton Confer's wife, Clara Miller, was the sister of my husband's grandmother, Effie Tobias. Arthur and George Albert Confer were brothers. George Albert's son was Earl, who was married to Bernice. And it goes on and on...

RE: Watt
John,
John,
You can transfer Martin and Virginia Watt's memorial if you like. I'm not related to the Watts family but to the Humbles. Somehow I'm related to Raymond Humble, who married Hazel M Watt Humble Ross, since alot of my Humble line lives in the Midwest, but no sure at the moment.

Griffy family
John, You don't remember me but, you have helped me in the past. Nothing like you have tonight however. I am a decendent of Leonard Schnepp, Daniel Cain & Solomon Mormon Knight. These three names are all tangled up together with marriages over and over down the lines over 250 years. Sarah Knight, mother of Hettie however has always been a real problem as she married her brothers father inlaw, Daniel Cain who was 30 years older than she. We have always known there were other children but could not find them. It did not help that those children were young with the loss of almost all the Knight family in Sugar Creek, 1846-7 with Colora By the way, Sarah's brother was Samuel who married Hannah Cain. They are mine too. I have no clue where you found this information but I do thank you so very much. If you ever feel like passing them on, please consider me. Oh, I did not tell you that Leonard Schnepp's granddaughter married into the Cains and that the Schnepp & Coy family, which 3 of their children married, also married into the Bingamans who are mine another way too. What a tangled web. lol
