Please use the EDIT button on the memorial page for "faster service". If your correction isn't made, it is probably because you failed to do this and I could not find the person via search.|
PHOTOS: You are welcome to use my photos for your personal / genealogical use. DO NOT duplicate them on Find A Grave. Please credit directly under the photo if published or used on a website.
I am happy to add links to spouses and parents.
TRANSFERS: I will consider "out-of-guidelines" transfers if you are adding PHOTOS OF THE PERSON and/or BIOGRAPHICAL MATERIAL. I do ongoing research on local families & cemeteries and often find materials myself, plus I know local researchers and descendants. I won't transfer just because of a surname or a distant relationship. If you're not adding anything, why do you want it? Are you willing to edit and update when asked?
Thanks to everyone who submits information.

I just wanted to say in case I didn't explain myself very well. It is not you that made the mistake or errors it was the person's who re-made the gravestones for the cemetery or the person's who tried to transcribe the information from the stones. I don't know which but the older stones are not always the same as the newer stones. I don't know if there is a way to get these newer stones corrected or what. I have tried to research most of the ones I am working on but that is not easy either. Anyway I hope we can get these corrected to whichever one is correct. I know we all work hard at getting the information our there. Thanks for checking into these memorials. Later Melba
email me your mailing address and I'll drop a copy of the "Gamewell Racket" mag in the mail to you. firstname.lastname@example.org

I'd love to make it but I don't get out too much. I have to be content to support their activities (like their web page) and other stuff, like indexing.
Best wishes to you. If you care to share your e-mail address, I'd like to pass on some links to existing sites.
Thank you, and same to you! God bless:-)

I have taken pictures of the grave stones at Lutheran Chapel and I am finding a lot of errors on the newer stones that were placed on the graves. This is one of them and I wanted to let you know so you can research it also.
William Cephas Mason according to the Old Stone he was born in July of 1868 and died Oct 4 1873.
I believe whoever set the New Stones thought this was the grave of the father. It has been very confusing trying to post for this cemetery due to the errors made. Many names are misspelled and dates of birth and death are also incorrect.
Just thought I would bring this information to you so you can check it out too. In case you want to note this on the memorial for anyone looking for their relatives etc.

Thank you for your visits to my family memorials and for all you do here. Many blessings to you and yours.

If you are ever up around King's Creek Baptist Church you could grab my aunt Patsy Younce Waters. She has a real modern looking headstone, but it fits her to a "T"
I have two in Blue Ridge: Edgar Wilson Younce and his daughter Wanda Y. Spencer.
And another at Fleming's Chapel: Elaine Anderson who is buried next to my grandmother Margaret for whom you just posted an image. I can't remember what her stone looks like other than a hand reaching down from Heaven. Anyway, her husband is listed on it too and he is still living, so may be tricky to image if that kind of thing bothers you.
Did you still want a copy of my Gamewell Racket paper? I asked you one other time and didn't recall you replying. Let me know and I'll give you my email address. We can go from there.
Thank you again! No rush on any images. Just whenever you happen to be near those places again. I don't get up to Lenoir much, most of my close kin folk up that way have passed on. Just have a grandmother in Hudson. Take care!
