I am interested in any more info on Isabella Miksch. # 110020307. There is a picture attached and I can't quite make out the birth or death date. I was wondering if you would take a close look at the original picture and see if you are able to give me any more info.

We respectfully request permission to use Cleon's cemetery marker photo in our personal tree. Cleon is Bruce's cousin and the photo will make a great addition to our tree.
Thanks for your consideration.

Thanks for getting back to me. That's happened at least one other time & when I wrote the person about deleting accurate information, they said the same thing - that wasn't their intent at all but that's what the edit showed! I will decline that edit.
|Diane & John||Re: William Mitchell #35715283|
Sorry ... in my previous message I said I calculated the "death" year ... that should be "birth" year!
I appreciated the artcles you send - very interesting.
|Diane & John||Re: William Mitchell #35715283|
You just sent an Edit removing the birth year of 1824 and also removing the death place of Phoenix, AZ. I'm wondering why?
The articles that you previously sent say "engaged in business in Phoenix, AZ ... died at Gregory House in that city" and his death certificate also says Phoenix, AZ as to where he died.
I calculated the death year from that same article that said he was 75 yrs. old and his death certificate says he was 76 yrs. old. I felt it was helpful to have some birth year on his memorial page and until someone can send me a definite, proven birth year, 1824 is close.
Thanks Pam. I just thought you had done such a great job you had to be family. I was going to pick your brain on a brickwall I have in the Swain family. Ray
Are you related to the Swains? You have done such a great job with there memorials. If you are would you please contact me at
I am the great great grand son of Samuel Swain and would like to talk to you about Henry Swains family. Thanks Ray Harlow Elida, Ohio

I just received a first edition of the book "With the 112th in France". There are two inscriptions inside the front cover as follows:
"Presented to Harry and Jennie Hosil by E. D. Felt and Family, Dec. 25th 1919"
"From Chas. Felt's collection. Given to me by Charles"
Seeing the Felt/Hodil gravestone and the names associated I feel that Harry or one of their sons may have been in the 112th. I am not interested in a detailed genealogy but would be interested in knowing what family member was with the 112th. Based on the inscriptions this book was personally important to the family and I would like to know a bit more so I can place a page in the book with that I formation for the next owner.
|Mikel||Woodrow W Myers|
Hi, my father served in WWII with Woodrow W Myers. Is he a direct descendant of yours? I've made a website to honor the guys and to tell the story of the unit. I'm always on the hunt for more photos and stories of their time in the service. The website is: 284thcombatengineers.com and Woodrow was in B Company. I have over a hundred photos of B Company posted in their gallery and probably 600 photos total across the battalion (H&S, A, B and C Companies). My email address is posted in the contact section, drop me an email if Woodrow is in your line.

|Thomas Schenk||Ellwood Families|
I would love to know how you have connected the various Ellwoods for whom you have memorials.
I'm getting back into more serious research and have been finding a good bit regarding names, date, etc. which you have place on find a grave for which I am very grateful as it reaffirms much of what I have found in the last few days.
My connection is through Virgil Ellwood, son of Franklin & Amanda (Kughler). Virgil married my 1st Cousin Emma Schenk who I was fortunate enough to meet in the late 1980s when I first began my family research.
Anyway, I do appreciate what you have done as I also like to use find a grave to memorialize people, some of whom are virtually forgotten. If you would like, you could contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
