Bio Photo If you're contacting me regarding memorials I've added for Noble County, OH, please note that I have no personal ties to this area. I have photographed stones locally as a courtesy to help you find/locate your ancestors and family and represent the individuals in interim. If you are a relative of memorials I've added in Noble Co. and would like to take over maintenance, feel free to contact me and I'll gladly transfer memorial ownership to you. Please remember to include your member ID in the request. :)

I will not transfer memorials of our direct ancestors.

Happy hunting!

UPDATE 8/2014: It's been a good run but I will not be adding more memorials. It's become too time consuming considering the photographing and editing, researching to verify, locate obits, etc., to have other scant memorials added in the wrong locations, incorrectly listed, or as "unknown burials" and edited/relocated later only to receive annoyed emails that I've duplicated a pre-existing memorial and asked to remove mine. I assure you that I check and double check to see if they're listed before I add them, and while I don't mind editing/amending them, it's a waste of my efforts to add memorials only to delete them and re-link entire families because someone else changed theirs.

Any from Noble you'd like transferred will be done whether within the official guidelines or not as I have no connection.

transfer of memorials
First I would like to thank you for all the hard work you have done on Find A Grave. You indicated you would like to transfer the memorials you currently have. I would be willing to accept my family memorials. I am not sure how you would like to handle this as I am related to many people in Noble County. My main family is the Guiler family but I am also related to others. My name is Judy Goodrich and my ID# is 47852156. Please let me know what is the busy method of transfer for you. I can ask for a memorial one at a time each day or by the week or whatever. My e-mail address is jggen@sprynet.com if you would prefer to communicate that way. Judy

Thanks for actively managing your many memorials and so quickly doing the several edits I just sent you for people in Clarion County.

Family Memorials
This is just a thank you for all the memorials you have created on Find A Grave. We are also related to the Clarks in Pennsylvania and your memorials have helped us in our research.

If not for people like you, researching family members would be much more difficult.

Thanks for a job well done!

Meyers family data
Thanks so much for the posting of various members of this family. They are part of a missing branch on the Abraham Clark, Signer of the Declaration of Independence, New Jersey. Your sound research has allowed me to make substantial additions to our genealogy of this Signer.

RE: Re: Williams
Hi again, Pamela,

I've posted the several obits and news articles you sent. It was so very generous of you to take the time to do it. Accordingly, I took the liberty of giving you credit, and in the case of the article about Jacob Snyder included Paul Kifer in the acknowledgement. If you would rather I not do this, I can remove them.

Also, I didn't process your suggested edit for Emira Williams' death date. In reading the obit, I saw it was copied by the Clarion Democrat from the Oil City Derrick on Wednesday (April 20th), which would have been the following week. In order to figure that out I did an online search for an April 1893 calendar. Unfortunately, my first reading of the account had missed that she actually died the previous Thursday (April 13th) morning, hence the April 12th date. I have now changed the date from the 12th to the 13th. As the obit reads, the funeral was held that very night, with the trip to Clarion County the next day. I'm not thinking they bothered to have her embalmed. And, since the story in The Democrat was the following Wednesday, it's reasonable to assume the editor inserted the word "Friday" in place of what may well have been "today." I searched the Oil City Derrick on Ancestry for the original article, but the only issue online for April 1893 is April 1st.

Again, many thanks for your help!

Best,

Tom

Duplicate linking
Pamela, Thank you for all your great work here. I do not know if you knew but when those who request you to delete your duplicate come up you can send both links of the duplicates to Katrina@findagrave.com and get them combined which should preserve your links, bio and flowers. Have a great day! Rosalie in ID, sister-in-law to a Grewell Descendant

Jacob Snyder Burial Location
Hi Pamela,

Greenville was the original name for Limestone, PA. The U.S.Post Office made the change in the early 1900s because of the confusion it caused with Greenville in Mercer County.

Thanks for all the newspaper accounts about Jacob's death, and Tate, Pritner, and Hannah. I need to get Tate's photo scanned and posted, as well as Elmira's.

Best,

Tom

Family Info
James Earl Womeldorf was my Great Grandfather. His daughter Mary Olive-Roseann (Womeldorf) Goodman was my Grandmother. Her daughter Violet Edna Miller is my mother. The only info I have is what I was able to get off of ancestry.com. Not sure how much is accurate. I am wondering if someone would be able to email me with help? Anything would be greatly appreciated because I was adopted. Email is kim_lansberry@yahoo.com. Thanks.
