Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have worked in family history for over 50 years. I was introduced to Findagrave and started adding photos and data to my ancestors that already had a memorial. I am in the process of adding memorials of those members of our family that are in the cemetery but did not have a memorial. I am also trying to link families together. (Pencil sketch by Dale Duke in 1993.)

wrong picture
unless you know something we don't know--the picture you have for Clarinda Phillips Langston is not her. The picture you have is Maria Brooks DeGrey or Degray. The information is correct. Thanks for all you do

Shepherd Glazier and Martha Handy
Hi I am the great great granddaughter to Martha McCauslin Handy and I see on her page that it lists a second husband Shepherd Glazier. I am wondering where I can find proof of that information. She married William Handy and he is my great great grandfather. We never knew of any other marriage. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

You left this note on her memorial site.
"I heard your story on TV yesterday. I have been touched by your love and sacrifice for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Death is but a moment in eternity.

Added: Jul. 21, 2014 This is my 4th great grandmother. I was wondering what show it was you heard her story on. I would love to see it.
Thanks,

John Ruggles Searle
I have been working on the Searle line seriously for about 2 years. John Ruggles Searle would be my 4th great grandfather. Chester Searle is my ggrandfather. His father was Henry Christopher Searle. Henry is the son of John Searle who married Mary Williams. Henry Christopher was married twice and I cannot prove Chester is the son of his first wife. The children of Henry and his 2nd wife fit good for half brothers of Chester. Chester had a brother Rudolphus.
There was about fifteen years that Henry and his family went to live in Canada West and lived, from somewhere in the 1840s until near 1863 when his last son Robert was born in New York. Chester was born 1838 in New York, died in 1912 up in Manitoba,Canada trapping. Rudolphus was born in New York 1940 and died in Michigan 1917.
In the 1880 census, bro Robert, born in New York, 1863, was living with Rudolphus in Michigan.
I sure would enjoy hearing from you.

Question about Mary Brown
Hello,
I am an descendant (through the Searle line) of Mary Brown who was born Dec 08, 1818 and married to John Searle. I see that two years ago you asked a question on her "Find A Grave" site if anyone knew if she was part of the Narragansett Indian tribe. I was wondering if you had found any information regarding that since then? If so would you mind sharing anything on her with me? I have been wondering the same thing because my Grandmother said that Mary Brown was either full or part Native American. My Grandmother has long since passed away and I have not known which tribe to look for more information about her until I saw your question.

Thank you for your time.

Linda

Isaac Griffith
Found a very old message from you from Find-a-grave.
You asked for the url of an Isaac Griffith. Sorry I never replied but I cannot remember participating in Find-a-grave until this year. I do have several men named Isaac Griffith in my line mostly in the early 1800's in Baltimore and eastern Ohio.
