I was born in southwest Iowa and currently live in a suburb of Omaha, Nebraska. Both sides of my family have strong "roots" in Fremont and Page County, Iowa, which is where I've taken the majority of the photos I've added to FindAGrave. Civil War veterans in SW Iowa and the 4th Iowa Cavalry are recent interests.|
Simply taking a picture of a headstone is difficult for me. I use various sources to fill in the dash between the dates. If I've made mistakes feel free to send me corrections, or additions. I know that exact dates and places of birth and death, family relationships, obituaries, burial plots, etc. can be important sources of information. I will add information to any memorial I've created. I am more than willing to transfer memorials if they are not my relatives.
Feel free to retake and upload a headstone photo. Weather, time of day, peonies, etc. sometimes make a headstone photo difficult to read. Contact me if I need to delete my photo. I won't be offended.
Anyone may use any of my headstone photos from Find A Grave for their own family research.

You were such a great help in finding my great grandparents' obituaries out of the Hamburg Reporter. I subscribed to the newspaper.archive
but still am unable to find what I need.
You may be unable to help, but I'll ask anyway.
You were not the creator, and can't contact them.
Maybe no longer a member.
If you could help me locate the obits on
Leora Phoebe Woolsey Zuck 3 Aug 1871 - 21 Apr 1933
Charles Wesley Zuck 23 Aug 1871 = 10 Feb 1941
Both are buried in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Like most of my ancestors, they lived in Atchison County, but were buried in Mt. Olive.
Let me know if you would be able to find for me.

Sorry I never got back to you . I had visitors . Thanks for all the information . He is my great uncle . I often wondered why he had been buried in Iowa . I just put in the information given to me by my elderly cousin .I will get around to changing it . It makes more sense that he is buried where he died .I am sure there are more that are a bit off .
