If you send an email be sure to put findagrave in the subject line. Sometimes mail lands in the spam box. Anything that lands in SPAM is automatically deleted without opening.
Please DO NOT post photos of obituaries on my memorial pages. If you send me the info I will be glad to post it as long as you give me source and date of the article. If you do not want to type it, send me a photo copy and I will type it.
Per findagrave guidelines "Similarly, you may NOT scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record."
PLEASE, PLEASE use the edit tab in the upper right of the memorial page, click on the appropriate selection and fill in the blanks or select suggest a correction and make your comment, suggestion, transfer request etc. This makes it easier for you and me.
A number of memorials in Saranac Cemetery in Saranac, Michigan have been transferred to me. If you have any additional info about any of these I will be glad to transfer them.

|Sue Hale Sheppard||Claude Collins #90650393|
Thank you so much for the updates on the memorial for Claude Collins #90650393. Now the family is a complete circle.
I would be pleased if you would read my Bio and visit my parents' memorials by clicking on their links.
|C. E. Bailey||Thanks|
Thanks, Dottie, for your recent edit.
I see now the dates, it might be good to denote the Sr. And Jr. in those fields that are given for just that on Harry and Harry Richard, it will certainly reduce confusion of any others. I went ahead and submitted the changes.

Thanks so much for making her memorial & the picture! She is my mother's neice. When they got married all I knew was they went to NC to live. This gives me a great starting place!
Thanks again! Judy
|Spotsgenie||children of Beverley Dandridge Tucker|
Hi Dottie, the originally creator of Beverley Dandridge Tucker, Stars & Bars left findagrave.com so he deleted all his memorials then another person came along and recreated another memorial for Beverley Dandridge Tucker so we had to re-link all his children back to the new memorial sorry for any inconvenience.

Hi, Dottie! I came across a duplicate memorial for my cousin in Colonial Grove in Virginia Beach. It duplicates the one I created for him 2 years prior to your memorial. Is there a way we can merge the two entries? Thanks for all your hard work! Helen Barnes
|William Low||Mary Lelia Land Cromwell|
Is there a Mary Lelia Land Cromwell (1887-1915) buried near Oakley Carrol Cromwell (90219280)? She was his wife and according to her death certificate she was buried in Forest Lawn in November 1915. I don't see her listed in Find a Grave for this cemetery.
|Teresa Davis||Weldon Grant Smith and Rosa|
Thank you so much for posting the pictures of the stones of Weldon Grant Smith and his wife, Rosa Edwards. This week I was in Nanning, China and shared with Weldon's grandchildren and G-grandchildren the place where Weldon and Rosa are buried. It was very emotional. Thank you for taking the time to go out and take this photo. It was most kind of you.

Thank you very much for the transfer.
Hope you will have a GREAT day.

Dottie, thanks for your reply about Evelyn Edwards' memorial (# 65696532). We think you misunderstood our intent. We appreciate that you created this memorial and maintain it. There is no question regarding what you put into it. As an FYI, we simply pointed-out that her age at death, as stated in her obituary, is incorrect - it should be 80, not 70. Therefore it does not "correspond to dates on her tombstone". Whether is was a typographical error in her obituary, or it was transcribed with this mistake, it is still incorrect - it could be changed or designated as [sic].
Anyway, at this point, we don't think she cares about it ;-)
Thanks again for your efforts on these memorials!
