Thank you for creating a special memorial for my dad, and for transferring it to me today. I'll always appreciate your thoughtfulness!

RE: Jonathan W. Wood
I have not found the John Wood I am looking for. The full name I have on the roster of Stanford's Mississippi Battery, Jonathan W. Wood, enlisted as a Private on 11/6/1861 in Grenada, Miss. Paroled as a Private on 5/10/1865, in Meridian, Miss. He stated his home was Carroll County, Miss.

Hello Mrs. Hollingsworth. I am Bruce Alexander, son of R.V. and Helen Alexander. I have 2 corrections you need to make. The first is on my Mother's memorial #54576262 where you list her mother as Lunia where it is actually Luvia. The second is memorial #13069542. The photo in this memorial is that of my Grandfather, Albert M. Alexander. Please make these corrections at your earliest convenience.

Jonathan W. Wood
I was wondering if you know if John served in the Confederate Army, from Mississippi. I have a Jonathan W. Wood who served in Stanford's Mississippi Battery from 11/1861 through 5/1865. I am looking for his burial location. Thank You.

Salena Dabbs is gone--in favor of Nancy Salena Shields Dabbs which has pics and great links.

Good work and thanks for clearing up a duplicate.

Hattie Jean Blake Woodard
I noticed you have Hattie Jean listed as the mother of Deborah Jane Woodard. I never knew of this so I did a little digging. Hattie's husband Waymon had a brother named Dudley Dixon Woodard. lists him as Deborah's father. Just thought I'd share that. :o)

Too bad we do not know where Lillian is buried. There are so many unknown burials in Greenbrier County and so many small plots with one or two graves but no markers.
But we may come across it.
