Bio Photo <------ Meeka (a rescue that has changed my life)
Born in Trenton, Nova Scotia, Canada, raised in Los Angeles since age 5. I concentrate my efforts at Westwood Memorial Park, Forest Lawn Glendale, Hollywood Forever & Los Angeles National.

+*+*+*+May 2016 I am now concentrating on Woodlawn, Hillside Memorial Park & Holy Cross during the summer months. Too hard for me to climb the hills at Forest Lawn, Glendale.

I produce a high volume of memorials and photos with a good chance I have made some errors along the way. I ALWAYS welcome corrections!
***When I take a photo for a request, I take the time to trim and clean the headstone. I average 700 random photos each time I go and do my best to make sure the headstone is readable. I do not clean and trim each one. I personally like the natural (as it stands) look rather than doing what should be done by the cemetery.
If anyone wants to manage a memorial I created that is not a family member or friend of mine, just ask. I donít understand those who feel the need to hoard and control every memorial.

If anyone wants to use ANY photo I have posted to their family tree can do so without further permission. Anyone who feels the need to charge for photos that offer a family a small piece of their (key word their) family history needs to rethink their values. No disrespect meant. I offer my photos to anyone else for publication for free with proper photo credit.

Pvt William George Golladay
Thank you very much for visiting Pvt Golladay's gravesite and taking a second -- closeup -- photograph of his stone. The stone is indeed mispelled, but that is OK. If you review his father's lineage, you will find that William's ancestors have a strong military heritage, back to and including the Revolutionary War. One that we are very proud of. His grandfather is my Great (2) grandfather. Again, thank you, and Semper Fidelis!

Pamela Wroughton Smith
Thank you for the photo of my sister's remembrance plaque at Westwood Memorial Park Cemetery. After her death, my mother would ride the bus from Culver City to Westwood to pay her respects to her daughter. Years later, she had an interest in finding the burial records for Pamela but it was difficult pre-Internet. I found the birth records a few years ago and my brother Ron and I requested the plaque. Pamela was buried (ashes?) in the rose garden with other babies. My mother died before this plaque was installed but she would be thrilled to know her daughter was remembered this way. Perhaps my father would too. Your effort to memorialize their baby girl and my sister with a photo is appreciated. It is a blessing. Thank you again.

Dear James, A sincere, heartfelt thank you for taking these photos. I love the perspective shot with the tree. This was my Uncle Joe and Aunt Tina, my dad's brother. They were great people. Thank you again, your taking the time to volunteer has made me so happy. Best wishes! Grace
