Massey Update
Hi Danny,

No, sorry, I cannot confirm their death dates or marriage info. I did, however, independently confirm the maiden name Sullivan as I did not even notice the note by S. Denison on Elizabeth's memorial and did my own search.

The reason I looked into this family a bit is because I ran across a P.P. Massey, 8593562, who is buried in Provencal Cemetery, Natchitoches Parish, LA. He had no other Massey's buried near him, so I wondered why he was buried out there, seemingly all alone, and did a cursory search. My brief bio notes have been added to his memorial.

You would think that the two P.P.'s may be father and son - Old Cedron Cemetery is only a short distance south - but I have no confirmation of that.

Sorry I don't know more. I do appreciate you taking an interest. I do like very much to see the memorials enhanced whenever possible, and I can see you feel the same.

Thank you for your inquiry,
Sheila

PS: You have a duplicate to one of your memorials added here: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gsr&GSln=Durrett&GSiman=1&GScid=67185&

Marcelle Slaughter
Martin Cemetery - Natchitoches
I noticed you created the Martin Cemetery page in 2007. How did you gain access to the property? I attempted to do so, as there are 3 photo requests, but was told I would not likely be allowed to visit the cemetery.

RE: Moffett headstones
I always joke that these stones are my favorite stones to photograph (NOT!) They are so hard to take a photo of and the engraving is not deep on them. The stone reads Moffett:
W.S. "Bill" Nov. 25, 1904 Apr. 6, 1976
I hope this helps! Julie
