Walking a cemetery is like walking into a museum; each marker is a work of art that I love to capture. In addition to photographing markers for others, I search out those of young children who would otherwise be invisible because they don't have direct descendents to search for them.|
I would be happy to transfer anyone, other than family, to you. Just contact me. And you are very welcome to use my photos in your family tree without asking, but my curiosity would like to know which ones are being used.
A special thank you to Tom C for helping with information on Oakwood Cemetery residents. We have entered every name from the cemetery records up through December 2013 into findagrave to hopefully help you in your search. Thanks Tom!

Thanks for all your work on Find A Grave! I wanted you to know that I am using your photos of William G and Carrie Sager Torrey in my ancestry.com family tree. I also have many relatives in Oakwood cemetery, so THANK YOU for all that work too! I appreciate it very much as I live in NC now and rely on kind folks to help me finding all of my family members.

Diane: Now that you mention it, I do not get any requests for Oakwood. The only city requests I receive are for Onondaga Valley and Walnut Grove on the hill. Most of the other ones come from Madison or Cortland county. Which makes no sense, as I live in the 13078 zip code. Go figure! Incidentally, if you run across any 19th cen gravestones signed by the manufacturer (usually on the base, lower right) let me know. I'm particularly interested in Robert Spaulding, Isaac and Sydney Stanton, and Joseph Watson. Thanks.
