Your very welcome.

I've complied with all I could. The edits not completed are due to no available Find A Grave numbers. As I am unfamiliar with this function I somehow deleted everything and so can't give description of those not done. cjb

You are welcome. I did not realize these were yours.
How are you all doing?
I have almost quit doing genealogy. I work assisting teachers in a school district near me and am kept busy with that.
I also have a very bad computer which I bought used early this year and it is acting up all the time. My good laptop crashed 2 years ago and I have not had time to get it fixed. Chris

Thank you for managing this site. David Shoemaker was my grandfather. I cannot take over managing the site because of family obligations but I have added a photo of him and my grandmother. I visited their graves many times when I was young.

I am glad someone else was able to find out more about Jess Vanderpool's final resting place even if there was no marker there. I noticed he was a war veteran. The VA offers to provide markers for war veterans free of charge if you are interested in adding a marker to his site. I believe there may be a charge by the cemetery to place the marker however. You can apply for the marker on their site: http://www.cem.va.gov/hmm/

You're welcome. So glad I could at least locate the site.
I saw a small marker and created a memorial page for Edwin Lee Maugans when I took a picture to fulfill your photo request for George Maugans. I also photographed George's wife, Nettie's, marker and added it to her memorial page for you. A Jan Marie (1956-1965) was also on Nettie's marker and I created a memorial page for her as well. Shue

Tried you at Bill@vanderpool.com, but it was returned, so here's the gist of my letter: Bill, I don't know if you knew my later mother, Pricia Burk Paulkovich. She was an avid genealogist and Bain and Vanderpool are both part of her line.
I have been going through her things and found a photo marked "Bain Family. On bottom right corner: Cyrenus Bain, Armina Cox Bain."
I added it to Findagrave memorials for Cyrenus and Armina, and noticed that the gravestone photos were from you.
Maybe you would like to see the photo, and maybe you know some of the others in the photo?
