Bio Photo My interests - as they pertain to Find-A-Grave - are genealogy, photography, Civil War and Oregon & Santa Fe Trail history. I believe that family members, however distant, make the best managers of memorials, and therefore most of the memorials I manage are available for transfer. I try to visit at least one cemetery on each of my travels, for new memorials and new photographs, to help preserve the history of families and communities.

Kahlbau, Carl & Dorothy

Thank you for pointing out to me the duplicate memorials on the Kahlbaus. I created my memorials from the cemetery records compiled by the Tri-State Corners Genealogical Society and those records show Mr. and Mrs. Kahlbaus are both buried in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery in addition to a Frederick Kahlbaus born 9/24/1896 and died 3/26/1972. Are these relatives of yours and are you certain the German Lutheran Cemetery still exists as there is no records in the Genealogical compilation of such a cemetery.

Even so, I have deleted my two memorials for the Kahlbaus and the other contributor, Toni Renee, may want to change the cemetery name on her two memorials to St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery.

Thank you,
A. Falsken, #48377719

RE: Ebenezer
I was pretty new at this when I did Ebenezer! I have learned a lot since then! I know what happened, I walked it and also used an old list I found at Quivera Museum in Lyons. I thought I had checked it for duplicates, but must have missed some!I like it to be correct also.

Photo Request
Hi, would you mind putting the headstone photo of Abner Simmons 102731692 and Nancy Simmons 102731699 to their earlier entry of Abner Simmons 63990228 and Nancy Simmons 63990236

I have contacted the other person and hope he will remove his later entry.

I was really happy to see that beautiful headstone, have been looking for it for a long time.

Thank you,

Ernestine Toenjes Memorial #32868630

WOW! Is that memorial really messed up. The memorial is for Ernestine Toenjes but has a lot of information for my grand aunt & Uncle James Virgil Thompsom, showing as Ernestine Toenjes husband and notes I wrote below that as to my family members in the Southwest City Cemetery, McDonald County, Missouri.

To be honest, I have no idea how in the heck all of that got on the memorial for Ernestine Toenjes. I sure did not put all that on that memorial. However, I did just delete the death certificate in question, but "ONLY" the memorial owner can delete the written information.

In my opinion, this had to have been done by some kind of glitch in the software at Find A Grave itself.

Hope all works out for you with this memorial.

Thank you for writing. I would love to manage Bradley memorial site. His name was added to the colorado site because his father is buried there and the head stone has his name on it. I knew he was buried in Topeka but could not find him.
Let me know what I need to do. Brad was my first cousin.
