Connie was 8 years older than Rod. She left home in Sept 1967 to go to college in Anerson IN which is where we met. She was probably not around when you and Rod were friends. He was only 13 when we got married in 1970. Did you live in the Columbine area as well? When we moved back to Denver in 1972 we lived with Virginia (Rod & Connie's) mom on Elmhurst Dr. for about 2-3 months until we got our own home. At that time Rod was still living at home and was heavily involved with taxidermy work. It drove his my nuts to have all that going on in their basement. Haha. He was quite a young man indeed!! It is so sad and to this day confusing. It has indeed been a pleasure meeting you even in this little bit of a strange way. Such a small world. By the way I saw the floral memorial you placed on Rod's site. That was very nice. I do remember him talking about his horse Sonny. Were you friends with him when he had to have his spleen removed. I think it might have been the result of being thrown from his horse but not positive. Take care Becky
Thank you so much for replying. Wow what a small world sometimes huh. So you were friends with Rod and your boyfriend was his roommate in college. Was that the year Rod died? My wife Connie who passed away 4 years ago was Rod's older sister. 1978 was an extremely difficult year for the family with Rod dying in May and then their Dad, Clyde and half brother Brad drowning off Cabo in the hurricane. Life really changed after that and only by God's Grace did we make it through. Where do you live? I would like it and appreciate it if you would transfer the memorials you created to me. Thank you very much!

I am the archivist for the Truckee Cemetery District and the Research Historian for our Historical society. I am building a Memorial book of families our people buried in our Cemeteries. I was wondering if I could use your photos in this book and also on the family tree on ancestry.com?
Thank you, Miss Morgan, that was very sweet of you!

WOW! If you don't mind, I would love too! Since it is my father's paternal line, I have tons of research on all of them. Thank you so much, I greatly appreciate that!!

I am sorry for sending you the SAC stating that your memorial is a duplicate. I have sent the SAC to the correct person.
