Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love the FindAGrave project. This site has helped me in my quest to find out where and who I came from.

I would be happy to transfer any memorials as long as they are not my family.

Family names I am researching include:
Barcus in Ohio; Strickland and Hackworth in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Tennessee; Van Winkle, Bush, Whyde, McFarland, Mathie, Grooms, Hilverding, Sibert, Darr, Swails, Douglas, Kidd, Bailey and Shenkel.

Ephriam Johnson @ South Lawn Cem.
Amber, I DID find something for him when I was back down there today....I got to thinking about it & checked the Veterans section & there he was. There were 2 more Johnsons, so I took their plaques & have also posted those: Clarence & Norman.

Wright/Barcus family info
It will be great to add some info, since all that I have now in your husband's family is him and a sibling listed as "child". The easiest thing to do would be to send you my Wright spreadsheet and give you the number that your father-in-law is listed under and my grandmother, too, so you can see where I fit into the family. Then you can send whatever you can add and maybe a few cousins' contacts to find out some more details. I'll be looking forward to it.

possible Wright cousins?
It seems I may have contacted you before--if so, please forgive the repeat question about your connection to Delmar and William Barcus. William's grandmother, Martha Jane Wright Barcus, was a first cousin of great-grandfather, Joe Wright. So Delmar was a fourth cousin to me. This part of the Wright family tree could sure use some "fleshing out"--I can send you what I have sometime if you want and then perhaps you can send me what needs to be added. Thanks!

Roxie Van Winkle
Hi Amber, I am happy to transfer to you and thank you for the kind words. I don't know the sections at Wilson, its set up rather oddly, but I can tell you how to find Roxie. Going North on 657 take the 3rd drive on the right just south of the oldest section. Roxie is the 7th gravestone from the North in the 3rd row of the section that will be on your right. There is an open spot or unmarked grave just North of hers. The row begins with a gravestone with the name McGreevey. I hope this helps.

Many Thanks--Angel

RE: Alice McManus #13933981
Any of my photos that you would like to use, feel free to do so. Acknowledgement isn't necessary....I do what I do as a hobby with the hopes that it benefits others. Thank you for asking!
