On memorial 47986954 there are duplicate photos. One will enlarge, the other will not. Thought you may want to delete one of them.

The next time you visit the West Point Cemetery, could you re-visit the grave marker of this woman for me?
Not a relative, but this woman (or another by the same name) grew up with my great great grandmother "Nancy Ann Applewhite" in Isle of Wight, across the James River from Norfolk. Don't think she ever married. Nancy married my gr gr grandfather Joseph J. McAllister in 1817.
In the 1850 census, Sarah is shown living with Nancy and her 17 year old son, James Joseph in the eastern district of IoW. That's the first year names other than head of household were recorded, and it shows Nancy as head. They are also recorded in the 1860 census, same place. Nancy died in 1868. Sarah is then shown in the 1870 census as living Hardy, IoW Co., VA with Lizzie Atkins
All the Bagnalls in the 1908 Norfolk city directory spelled their name with an 'a' rather than an 'e'. There were no Bagnells in the city then.
Would appreciate any effort you may perform on my behalf.
