Alyne Colter, please disregard the edit that I sent for her, was not paying attention. The spelling she used for her maiden name threw me.
And thank you for all of your work on find a grave and genealogy. Thank you, thank you

Hi Randy, I added some newspaper clippings about Sarah. In doing so, I displaced the photo of her marker so you might want to change the order.
I hope adding the clippings is OK with you, please let me know if you want them removed.

Thank you for all your hard work. I have found much helpful info from your work. My grandmother was a Carter and came from Monroe co. I have many cousins left in Monroe. Could you tell me if Carter Farm Cemetery is on farm owned by Leslie Carter? I am trying to contact him through cousins and visit the site. If not, please could you give me directions. John Bell Carter is a brother to my 3rd great grandfather. I am looking for info on John Bell & Chillon Carter's brother, Joseph born 1800. Thank you.

Thank you for transferring the other memorials over to me. I was wondering if you could also transfer Paula's memorial (#19997685)to me. He was my mother's brother and I would like to add some details and connections to other members of our family. I really appreciate your help.

Randy, could you transfer Sallie Brown's memorial over to me? She was my grandmother's sister and I would like to connect them to their other family members. Her number is 15810970. I appreciate all your hard work!

You are so welcomed. You have waited almost 2 years. Beulah does not have her death date on the headstone. Was she even buried there? I had that happen once before when the wife was cremated and not buried with her husband. The brother said that he sent the ashes to Holy Cross but Holy Cross has no record. Just a interesting story to tell you saying "things do happen". They are both in a beautiful area. Just beautiful.

Thanks Randy I really appreciate the kind words. They make this sad period a little easier to bare.

Randy, could you allow me to edit my father's obit? My number is 48659035. I have only been a member for a few months and just learning, but there are a few things I would like to add. Thanks, Barbara Birge
|Buck||RE: Arnold Cross|
Randy, there has been confusion over this family for two reasons. 1. The 1940 census is somewhat misleading. It lists Arnold in Illus and Bettie's household as Arnold Hood, but is called a son. 2. The information I received from Dewey Strickler said that Clarence Hood and Arnold were brothers.
I am not personally closely related to these families and this information is all I have to go on. I have seen many obituaries that give incorrect information on list adoptive parents as parents. I do not know that this is the case in this instance. However if you have knowledge of this family and can assure me that Arnold was by birth a Cross, I will be certain to adjust my notes in accordance. In the mean time I will delete my flowers. Buck
