I find great peace and spiritual rest in cemeteries. I've always loved them. Back in college I did a whole series of paintings of the beautiful memorials at the local cemetery.
As for Find A Grave, I started out transcribing the graves of my husband's family and those buried near the family plot in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, New Carlisle, Ohio (Clark County). I also have transcribed some parts of the New Carlisle cemetery, and a couple of others that I've come across in my genealogy searches.
If you are looking for a photo of a grave in Glen Haven, New Carlisle, Huber Heights, or the nearby area in Ohio, I'll be glad to take pictures if I can. Please email me, using "Find A Grave" in the subject line. Any info you have on the specific location within the cemetery is also appreciated.
I have also occasionally added listings from local online obituary sources~ these may or may not include photos. These are mostly things I stumble across while looking up a family obituary.
My hope is that someone will benefit from me wandering around in cemeteries-- I'd love to hear from you if I have entered someone you were looking for!
