Hello,I Have Just Started Tracing My Roots And Discovered That Julius And Margaret Woodby Were My Great Great Grandparents, On My Fathers Side. Do You Have Any Information That You Would Be Willing To Share With Me? We Surely Must Be Distant Kinfolks. I Would Appreciate Any Help.

Info on Nathaniel Lewis
I saw that flowers have bee placed on the grave of Nathaniel King. He is a direct ancestor of my wife, Carol. We have been to the grave site a few times and we have a question regarding his death date. We have the date of death as Nov 18, 1843. However, someone has posted a picture of a new grave stone reflecting a date of 1839. We have several sources that indicate his death as 1843.

Would appreciate any info you have on this individual regarding his death date.

We have quite a bit of information on the King family from Tennessee and would be willing to share any and all of this info with you if your are iterested.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Thanks Janet
My Mother was born to the Lassiters. I've been digging around to find Ruth Edwards resting place. You've lead me straight to her! Thank you.

There are six older Stoners listed in the Chickamauga, Cem. Walker Co. Ga. It may be 15 mls. from Mt. Plesant. It may be worth a try.
Good Luck

RE: Photos for Stoner family
You are most welcome. Sorry I could not find Alfred H. There are some unmarked stones with and around the Stoners. Also there are other Stoners in Paynes Chapel, south of Mount Pleasant.
The names Irene & Roy Stoner are on the backside of Jane Anns' stone. The pics. are there. It may help a little.

Thanks for the pic of Uncle Walker's grave. Somehow I missed getting it at Aunt Polly's funeral. Are we related?
Happy Graving!

Sorry hon, I did my best to look for it...it really is sad how bad it is...they are doing construction all around the area and it looks as if they had some big machinery parked there and tore up the place. I will never understand why people cannot care about other people any more, living or dead.
