I come from a long line of Southerners. I love family, genealogy and history. When I was a kid, mom and dad would drive back roads, don't really know why, but it was peaceful and beautiful. We would stop at cemeteries, visit and pay our respect to the families that lived before us.

When my children were small, I worked at a cemetery. Sometimes, I brought my children. I taught them what my parents taught me: respect, peace and love.

Now, I visit cemeteries all over the South as I continue my many, many years long journey through my love of genealogy. Piecing together family, history and lots of questions.
