I currently live in Brenham, TX. I have ties in the Lubbock area, where I am more or less "from". My family tree extends to many parts of Texas and the US South. My ancestry is predominantly English.

CORRECTIONS & TRANSFERS Please click the "Edit" tab on the individual memorial, then the "Suggest A Correction" link on the specific memorial you would like me to update or transfer. DO NOT SEND CORRECTIONS AS EMAILS OR PUBLIC MESSAGES
If you are asking for a transfer, please state briefly your relationship to the deceased in the SAC. I am not terribly particular on how closely you are related, be it directly, distantly, or as a family friend. More often than not I am happy to transfer to anyone who has more knowledge of the person and is willing to maintain the memorial. I just find it makes a more pleasant read than simply "transfer please", and it satisfies my curiosity. :)
----------
I am willing to do obituary lookups from the following papers:
***Brenham Banner-Press*** Oct 5 1876 - present [[MISSING ISSUES]] 10/29/1903 - 1/5/1905 12/19/1908 - 1/5/1910 12/21/1911 - 4/2/1912 Aug & Sept 1917 1/1/1920 - 7/1/1921 7/2/1922 - 1/2/1923
***Houston Post*** Jan 1, 1976 - Apr 18, 1995
***Houston Chronicle*** Apr 1, 1995 - present
You must provide me with specific names and dates. A name with no date, or an entire surname spanning generations gives me nothing to go on. PLEASE SEND OBIT REQUESTS AS EMAILS, NOT AS PUBLIC MESSAGES OR SACs

 | Aline Ridings Found the marker today but flowers were blocking most of the information. I will post the photo I have and then keep an eye on the location to either retake when flowers come down or have a maintenance person remove for a few minutes so I can take photos. | | | John Hughes
 | RE: Lloyd Bullock Gotcha . . . I'll take care of Lloyd Douglas Bullock next time over - probably tomorrow. No need to request again unless you want to just know it has been taken care of. The area is a real challenge with ants - I didn't stick around to see if they were fire ants - and semi buried or grown over markers. | | | Kathy Stroope Veasey
 | Prairie Lea Cemetery Hi again...
