RE: Edith Roderick
I guess that makes us family... I will delete my findagrave info when I move the other picture. I have to find the picture first. Just to let you know how we are related my great aunt Evangeline Rose was married to Steven Charles Roderick born 1920-2007
Thank you

Same person listed
I'm sorry somehow my findagrave # 54286415 is the same as your findagrave # 24204638. Is there a way to merge them? I would cancel mine if I did not have other people's pictures on it.

Berks-Dauphun Roots
Joanne(I hope I remembered that right),
I read your note to Berks-Dauphin Roots about the transfers. He died very recently. His name was Wayne(Will) Faust and one of the finest friends I encountered in findagrave. I became aware that he had lost much of his enthusiasm after he lost his son in 2014 but did not know he himself was ill.
You can see a photo of him in his son Jacob's memorial with his wife and Jacob. His wife must be devastated.

You seem to have the Philadelphia obit transcribed. I ran across her obit in the The Daily Local News, West Chester, Chester County, Pa. If you are interested in it, email me at danoh19344@hotmail.com . and I'll reply with the scanned entry.

I'm not family, just happened on the obit.

Your call.

another son of Isaac Titus
We are descendants of Isaac Titus, too. However, our line is through their son, Isaac, that I do not see that you have listed among the children.
Isaac b Oct 1795, d 23 Feb 1863 in Port Burwell, Ont. married Frances McDormand b 27 Mar 1757 in Digby NS, d abt 1860 Port Burwell, Ont.
Their daughter Sarah Anna Titus married Alexander B. Hutchinson. Sarah was born in Digby NS and died in Michigan.

We have a book that belonged to Isaac Titus (jr) in which he wrote that he brought the book to Canada 20 October 1827, age 33 years. Written in the back of the book is: Sally McDormand and a message. On the back cover "Hannah bunches trout cove digbey neck".

Our family, too, are DAR and SAR as well as Loyalists. He however are also Union and Confederate. Makes for great stories.

Would like to hear from other family members to share research.
Sarah Titus Hutchinson's grave is on Find a Grave.
thanks for all the work that you have already shared.

Ps to my messager re #80102491
Have done more searching and have found census documents showing that his sister-in-law, Martha lived with D. Loran and Mary for several years, and then she is listed as D. Loran's wife in census of 1920 and living with him and son George.

So it looks like she was his second wife - after Mary died.

I couldn't find a document for Katie Mauger nee Birch so I'm not sure when she married D. Loran.
But it would seem that she was his third wife, as Martha died in 1927.

Sincerely,
joann

Question about #80102491 D. Loran Mauger relationships
Hello,

I've been working on the Yoder/Levan family branch of my family and I have a question about this memorial.

I have found reference to a D. Loran Mauger married to Martha Yoder Mauger nee Levan. Her memorial number is 18759693.

Her gravestone even mentions D. Loran Mauger as her husband. I have her children as David, George and Margaret.

So I'm very confused as to whether this is the right D. Loran Mauger or not...or if he had three wives?

Any assistance or information would be appreciated. Thank you.

Sincerely
joann field

DeTurk Family
Hi Military Mom,

You have a ton of DeTurk memorials and many photos as well. Do you mind if I use your photos on my Ancestry tree for all of my DeTurk ancestors?

Thanks,

Charlie

RE: Maryanna Bednarczyk
No problem! The location is a bit confusing but it was definitely the coordinates I gave Mimi.
