Photo: Standing behind our family Patriot - Thomas Durfee, Esq. with my daughter and "cemetery buddy" Tara.|
Findagrave is such a valuable tool and helped me while researching for my DAR application. I had no idea where my Patriot, Thomas Durfee was buried until someone posted a photo on findagrave. We just HAD to go visit the site for ourselves!
I am willing to do photo requests anywhere in Rhode Island.
I initially began taking photos of ancestors, but have enjoyed adding others as well to this website.

Thanks, Julie, for the Amey Carew memorial. Also, I continue to marvel at the excellence of your photographic work. You really make an effort to make the inscriptions legible, which is such a challenge for the old markers. I appreciate all the old Rhode Island marker photos you've contributed.--Stan

I guess she did not have a stone. Her parents were Barnabas and Mary (Smith) Greene. THANKS again for everything.

Thank you for taking a super photo of the marker for my 6th great grandmother Miriam (Carpenter) Bliss. May I have your permission to use a copy of your photo in my ancestry.com family tree? I will give you proper credit in the caption.

Thanks Julie for the photo of their headstone.
Thanks for taking the picture of Thomas Peckham Clarke & wife's headstone. It's a wonderful service you do for those of us that can't get their on our own. Thanks again.

Thanks so much, Julie.
Back in September you took a photo of a stone with Rita Kingsley and several other family members on it. I realized I hadn't made a memorial for Rita's mother that was also on the same stone. I have corrected that and I was wondering if you would add your photo to her memorial as well. Catherine Aiken # 125258843 Thanks again!
