You are welcome Charlotte. This is my hobby identifying graves and linking them to family. Over the Christmas holidays I was on a real "mission." I wanted to get familes re-united. Only those that dabble in geneology understand

You're very welcome for the transfer! Please let me know if there are any people you'd like me to look up in our archives. We have funeral home records, cemetery records, telephone books (back to the 1920s), city directories (sporadic - back to 1913), and yearbooks back to 1909. Just say the word and I will put my staff or volunteers on it. Our goal is to have a complete story for each person in Beardstown cemeteries.

You are so very welcome for the photographs. I sent you email with possibly more relations to you. Let me know if they are yours.

I transfered Henry & his wife to you. If there are any others you want let me know. You can link them together. I am happy you found and claimed them. That is great when family finds my boarders.

I just transferred Jesse Boomershine to your member ID.
For Family Linking memorial entries, here are a couple ways:
1) For husband/wife entries, it can be Family Linked by either memorial entries. Example: On the husband's entry, go down to the bottom and find the "Find A Grave Memorial #" and copy (highlight and right click) this large number. Then go the wife's entry and if you own this memorial entry, next to the "Family Links" you should see an "Edit" hyperlink. Click on that and in the Spouse area, paste the number you received from the husband's entry. Marriage year is optional. As mentioned earlier, you can do this in either direction. You can grab the wife's entry # and connect if to the husband's Family Links option.
2) For parents to their children's entries, it can only be done from the child/adult child's entry up to the parents' entries. Again go to the parent's entry, copy their memorial entry #, go to their child's entry if you own it, and use the "Family Links" edit option to paste in the father or mother's entry #. If you own a parent's memorial entry (or not) and wish to link it to a child's entry that you do not manage, I send an "Edit Request" to the manager of the site I want linked (top right "Edit" button on an entry). I usually make a suggestion like:
"For your entry of John Doe, can you Family Link his memorial entry to his parents' entries?
Father, John Doe Sr., entry # xxxxxxx
Mother, Jane Doe, entry # xxxxxx
Thanks for your time."
If the manager of the site entry you want linked is still active, normally he/she will assist and link the entries you want. Normally I will have some kind of proof of the connection like in the parents' bio I will mention of their children so when the third party links their entry to yours, they know it is the correct parent/child memorial link.
Best of luck and welcome to the Find-a-grave community.

I've updated the dates of Jesse Boomershine buried in Dayton. I noticed you inputted/manage memorial entry for Coral Boomershine Cook. Possibly related? If parent, you can family link the child to the parent's entry using the memorial entry # of the parent on the child's family link. Give a yell if Jesse Boomershine is a relative and I will transfer the entry to you.

You are so welcome for the photos. I wish I had the others for you. We live in Florida, but were in Indiana earlier this year and stopped in the Goshen Cemetery and took quite a few photos and as I was working on adding some of the photos I saw your request and was just thrilled when I realized I had two of them.
