Heattown, you're very welcome. I love to walk through cemeteries. Mr Herron was fondly remembered by the Tacoma Cemetery cemetarian. He met Mr Herron and they talked about military things; he said that he enjoyed the time they spent together. He gave tips on where the site was located, making it very easy to find, and told me that the military marker is a recent 2016 installment that was undocumented on Find-A-Grave. So, you're the first to have it! If ever I can be of assistance, please let me know.

I have contacted someone who is listed as maintaining records for the cemetery to see if there is any other information. If I find out more, I will let you know.

It has been posted.

You are more than welcome....I was in Virginia visiting my daughter (Navy-Pentagon) and wanted to see the new Women's Memorial. As an addicted FAGer could not resist getting some photo's-I seemed to have picked the areas furthest away but it was a nice walk and able to get several requests.

You're very welcome. I thoroughly enjoy taking the photos, knowing it helps families.
I noticed you have another photo request in Winchester Cemetery for Susan Frow. If you call the office and get a location for the headstone, I would be happy to see if I can locate that one, also.

Thank you for the kind comments. Good luck in your quest in getting a stone for Garrison Dawson.
As I have worked with various cemeteries, I have found several Civil War & World War I soldiers listed that do not have a stone.
I have ask what needed to be done to get a marker put on their graves and was told that a request needs to be submitted by a family member.
