I have been working for many years researching the family name "Ranstead", "Ransted" or other similar spellings.|

Thank you, Uncle Bob. I missed seeing that connection and appreciate the other info.
Thanks so much for photographing James's stone. I understood that his wife, Deborah Pearson, is also buried there but find no record in Findagrave. Is she on the back of his stone and are there children on the sides? It looks like that kind of stone. I would love it if someone could photograph the other 3 sides, if they are etched. I am in Oregon. Happened to be passing through Bloomington just last Oct. but didn't know they were buried there, unfortunately, since I probably won't be back.
Thanks for all your work for those of us who don't live near our ancestors!

Thank you, Thank you in putting that person back to original post. It was so weird to have seen two women that were born on the same day. I knew mine had not been married to Alfred so when I went looking for the husband on mine I found her next to him! Wow, what a major coincidence! And, reason I had erred. Thank you again!

Thanks for your prompt answer and yes I just signed up here on Find a Grave yesterday, 15 January.
I had seen you were actually researching another surname, but the Delap headstones piqued my curiosity.
BTW... are you from Indiana and the Monroe Co. area?
Thanks for the offer of taking over but at this very moment I am very busy as I just renewed my family research this past month.
I retired so now I have time.
I am again beating the bushes for any tidbit of info which might lead to solving our Delap family mystery, i.e. the parents of our Robert and his suggested link back to Ireland, Scotland and or France.

I thought I might drop by and say hi.
I am a DeLapp, and dunlap, delap, delapp researcher and thanks to family and friends I have considerable information on Robert and his family all the way to me.
Robert was my 5th great grandfather.
I am a member here now and my personal email is:
FYI... the extra "P" was added by members of my family after a disagreement and the first tombstone to reflect the extra "P" is at Maple Grove Cemetery in Monroe County, In.
I am from Monroe Co. originally and have personally visited Maple Grove several times and have pictures also.

Thank you so much for looking for his grave. I really do appreciate your efforts. He was a Civil War veteran and should have a military headstone. So now I'm thinking I either have the wrong section or he doesn't have a headstone. I'm going to follow up on that. I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to find his grave. Thank you!
