Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a 71 year old grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of three. I'm a retired engineer after 34 years at The Boeing Company in St. Louis, MO. I got to travel around the world on my job and I loved it but you have to "hang it up" sooner or later. I'm also an amateur photographer having won a couple of ribbons in local competitions.

One of my two main hobbies is genealogy. Find-a-grave gives me an opportunity to combine it with my love of photography. I'm most proud that my photo of JFK's grave is still there after all these years. I don't know the statistics but I'm guessing it must be one of the most looked at pictures on this website.

At my age life is good. Thank you Lord. I appreciate it very much.

PS: I load a lot of memorials. Unless it's my family or a very close friend I am eager to transfer them to persons close to them so feel free to request a transfer. I'm happy to do it.

Did you ever know this lady. Her Memorial number is 45571541. This lady was a caregiver to me and my siblings in Jackson MS in early 1950. I have often wondered what ever happened to her and was fortunate to find her here.

RE: Russell L. Harrison
I guess it's safe to assume that you are not related to Russell but thank you for taking the time to check the Memorial page for the photograph. I appreciate it.
Happy Holidays!

Russell L. Harrison
You have a cameo of Russell L. Harrison on his Memorial (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=39840934). Are you by chance related to him? If so, I am trying to find information on when and where his father died and where he might be buried. After he passed away his wife remarried twice. Her third husband was my great uncle so I am hoping to find information on her and the families of her other husbands for my family tree.
Thank you,
Mary

RE: Mooresville
I have extended family buried at Mooresville Cemetery. It is very well taken care of. I will look up those people and see how I can help. I'll let them know I have Mannan just about done. It is a mess on find a grave. One lady just posted a bunch of memorials one day and she created several duplicates (like close to 20 or more). Added probably 30 or more memorials to the Morgan side of Mannan that should be on the Owen side-----which in turn created more duplicates. I noticed she's had a lot of complaints in comments from various people for various cemeteries. Thanks again for the info. Have a great week!!!

Caroline Mary Hueston Blunk
Hello,
In going through my mothers things this week I found an old Bible with no name or markings in it, and an original newspaper obituary for Carrie Blunk. This piece of paper is from when she died in 1879!

The thing is, after much research, I cannot connect Carrie with anyone in my family. The Bible was printed in 1888, so I am pretty certain it was not Carrie's Bible. I don't know if it is a distant cousin that I have not found or a friend of one of my great great grandparents. Carrie lived in Indiana, and NONE of my family on either side lived in Indiana, the closest were in Missouri and Ohio.

I am not even sure where my mother obtained this Bible, I assumed it was from a grandparent, but it may not be.

If you have any insights I would love to hear them. My family tree on Ancestry is the Hatch Thompson Family Tree, my name is Connie Kirkman Dunton. Free free to explore my tree if it will help.

There is a Hueston that married my father's aunt, George Hueston, but there are no Caroline's in his tree either.

It's a mystery!
Thanks
Connie Dunton

Thank you for the Transfer | Q.T. Taylor Webb
Richard, I appreciate you being so gracious as to transfer the maintenance of this memorial to me. She is a distant relative to my deep roots in the piney woods of East Texas. It is my sincere privilege to update her biography and memorial.

You are a genealogy gentleman!

Please let me know how and when I may return the courtesy.

James R. McDonough, SLMPD
Sir, I regret my error in regards to the above memorial of James R. McDonough that is in Calvary Cemetery. Upon further investigation it was determined that the James R. McDonough in Calvary is / was too young to have been the 1St Chief of Police for the SLMPD.

Thank you for your patience.

Thank you for your reply and the information that you provided. I don't know who wrote the "bio" for this man's memorial but I have since then found out through my research that this is the wrong person. Right name, but his bio should go to a different person who is buried in a different cemetery. May I use your picture until I can possible get one from the Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department. I have made Debbie Walus aware of this.
