Holy Cross
Hi John,
Did you get my email and have any luck contacting Eastlawn sextant?

I have an obituary for a Sister who "died in the motherhouse of the Sisters of the Holy Cross at St. Mary's" and was buried "in the community cemetery".

When I look up Community Cemetery in St. Joseph County, it is aliased to Holy Cross Cemetery. I happened to see a memorial with a photo you took at Holy Cross Cemetery, so I figure you have been there. It looks like there are only men buried there (on findagrave). Do you happen to know if there are sisters there also, or is there another Community Cemetery for St. Mary's? I don't see this woman entered at Cedar Grove. She's not coming up at all on findagrave.

Any ideas what cemetery St. Mary's used in the mid 1950's? I thought maybe there are sisters at Holy Cross, but either they were not marked, haven't been entered yet on findagrave, or in my brief look I just didn't find any sisters. I just looked at the first 200 or so.

The photo of the tombstone has "D" as the middle initial rather than "B." I think this man could POSSIBLY be Roy Douglas Bassett who was born in Florida.

By the way, if anyone reading this is familiar Roy's family, please contact me. Roy's SS# was issued in FL; I think he's the person I've been looking for several years.

Jim Parrish
Gerald Mangus -95635976
Hi, My name is Jim Parrish from Waupun, Wi. and I am attempting to fill in some holes in my family history. My 1st Cousin, Thomas Howard Wilson married Beverly Mangus and they had a daughter, named Rita. According to the info for Norman Dale Mangus, located on Find A Grave, is says that he had a step sister, Beverly and a niece, Rita.

I was hoping you could tell me who Gerald's first wife, the mother of Beverly, would have been.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have run across many of your memorials when adding grave photos. Well Done!
Just a suggestion- if you select "Portrait" on the drop-down menu when uploading a person's photo, it will stay on top of any gravestone images added later.
Keep up the good work.

Thank you
Just wanted to thank you for creating the memorials at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Growing up in Idaho, I knew many of these wonderful people and was able to keep in contact with a few for some years afterwards. Bless you for giving us the chance to make 'contact' again. Pat

Paul and Anna Harsanyi
I very much suggest you give ownership to the duplicates on Paul and Anna, as I started my research and posted it before you did. If these are not your descendants, please give ownership to the duplicates so I can merge them into one.

Thank you, Nadine Hardin
