Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a lifelong resident of New Jersey and I love genealogy, quilts--and cemeteries. I am currently photographing gravestones in Essex and Morris counties; also in the Lake Placid area of NY. I enjoy adding genealogy info and will gladly add links or information to any of the memorials I've posted. Veterans are near and dear to my heart--never to be forgotten.

Adam Gruenwald
Adam is my husband's grandfather's brother. I do the family genealogy and have limited info on the Gruenwald (Greenwald)family. I would appreciate anyone contacting that could help me fill in the family history.

RE: Gravestones of Isadore Schoenthal and Hilda Schoenthal
Thank you so much, Barbara. I really appreciate it, and finding these has inspired me to volunteer to take photos myself in my local cemeteries.

Gravestones of Isadore Schoenthal and Hilda Schoenthal
Hi Barbara,

I am the great-granddaughter of the Schoenthals and would love to download the photos you took of their headstones and use them on my blog at www.brotmanblog.wordpress.com May I have your permission to do so?

Please let me know. Thank you,

Amy Cohen

RE: Thomas Eckley
Thanks for your quick response. Yes, I did the same math that you did but was wondering if by chance the 72 could have been a typo that should have been 92, likely not since his wife's age correlates more with his age being 72..... but you never know! Thanks again.

Thomas Eckley
Hi Barbara,

I saw your photos of Thomas Eckley's grave in the First Presbyterian Church of Hanover, Morris County, N.J. From the picture, I could not read the writing on the stone. Side note said the inscription says he was 72 when he died in 1793. Any chance that could have been 92? I am looking for a Thomas Eckley born in 1700.
Thanks so much for what you are doing!!

Cheery hello sent your way...
Just a quick hello to you! Thanks bunches and bunches for all of the work you have done! Love the photos and the info.

Quick question...how are you on transfers? I am working on some of my cousins' lines and wanted to find out.

Do hope this finds you doing well!
