I have been doing family history for about 24 years. I found FAG about 2005 and it has grown to be one of my favorite sites. Periodically my husband and I take trips just to fulfill requests. We are involved in the ongoing project of documenting both Glenwood Cemetery and Hollywood Cemetery in Houston, TX.|

Great map for the Oak Grove Cemetery, Lavaca Co., TX! Thanks for all your hard work on it! Very appreciated!
Thank you for the photo. I looked and looked and could not find the marker. I've removed the statement from the memorial. Again, thank you very much. JR

Hillside Cemetary, Cuero, Texas.
The grave site is white gravel, white raised border.
Front row (on the far right) is Lot 10-Block 4- Section "A" for Laverne Lorraine Pousche. To her right is Ruby, born 1903, died 2001 (her last name might be Wittnebert or Bailey). The last one in the front I cannot name.
Behind them are 2 graves together but I'm at a blank. I really hope this helps you. I am very willing to wait until you have to return to the same cemetery so you don't have to make a special trip for just one request.

|AnnieMae||Barnie Kenady Thomas|
Thanks for the photos.
Lenora Stovall is his daughter. One of his son's 2nd wife,Catherine Ann Thomas, is my 1st stepmother, died with unborn child Doris Jean.
James (behind him) is his son.....Alva (to his right) is my grandmother...Eugene is also his son, my uncle, very quiet "peaceful" man, married a widow who had 2 children.
I have a close-up pic of Catherine Ann's grave marker but no reference point to locate it, at the time I had no idea who she was till I joined Ancestry and I've connected to her family.....THANK YOU !!!!
Also, the last time I saw Paw Paw Barnie's grave it was "cleaner" and had an old Masonic Emblem on it...but it was broken into pieces. Also, there were 4 spruce (?) trees around the site when I was a little kid...only one was left when I was last there.
Also, thank you for the photo of Daley Scott Thomas...I have a pic of his stone but it is so covered with moss I can't read it and didn't know who he was until I joined Ancestry !!!!!

|htowngenie||RE: Eddie Alice Hoffhein Memorial Glenwood Cemetery|
Sorry I wasn't very clear in my message.
The bio on Findagrave for Eddie Alice (Harriman) Hoffhein 83264512 has the following written on it "Her parents were Edward Harriman and Jane Moffett" when it should be "her parents were GEORGE Harriman and MARY Jane Moffett." The Texas death certificate of Eddie Alice Hoffhein was the source for the error as it has Edward Harriman and Jane Moffett.
FIRST MARRIAGE RECORD Mary Jane Moffatt Gender: Female Marriage Date: 22 May 1862 Marriage Place: Harris, Texas, USA Spouse: Benjamin Gammon Spouse Gender: Male Source: Texas Marriages, 1851-1900
SECOND MARRIAGE RECORD Mary Jane Gammon Gender: Female Marriage Date: 26 Jul 1879 Marriage Place: Fort Bend, Texas Spouse: George Harriman FHL Film Number: 1007996
Mary Jane (Moffett) Harriman gave birth to Eddie Alice (Harriman) Hoffhein who is the subject of the edit. All records (census and directory) have Mary J or Mary Jane, including her own death certificate, which has Mary Jane Harriman daughter of Paul Moffett.
The 1900 census ties all together (Gammon to Harriman to Hoffhein).
1900 census Harris, Texas 1418 Liberty Ave Mary J Harriman widowed b Aug 1846 age 53, daughter Eddie Harriman age 19, son Richard Gammon age 25, numerous grandchildren, boarders, including Charles Hoffheinz age 32 Railroad Brakeman IL3 (who would become the husband of Eddie Alice Harriman).
George S Harriman is also well documented in census records and directory records, and of course the marriage record I spoke of in my first message. He died before death certificates.
Please change the bio on Eddie Alice (Harriman) Hoffhein Findagrave# 83264512 to reflect the correct names for her parents GEORGE Harriman and MARY Jane Moffett.
