|Dr. George W. Rogers Sr.||RE: Rogers|
Here are mine:
Dad-Otis C. Rogers
Gr. Ftr.-George Wesley Rodgers(notice the 'd')
GGR. Ftr.-James Abraham Rodgers (who was married to a Sarah)
When I pastored in Collins, MS in 1978-79 there was another man in town also named George W. Rogers Sr. We often got calls meant for the other one.
My Dad was from George County and the family seems to have been in Greene, George, and Perry Counties for the most part.
Thanks for your reply.

Saw your input on Find A Grave and wondered if there is an ancestry connection. I am a Rogers also. My paternal grandmother was Stella Viola Dixon Rogers Lambert, wife of Doss Olliver Lambert who was the father of Evelyn by a prior marriage.

Would you please consider deleting one of your photos on this memorial? The date of death has been completed and I would like to upload a photo that shows that everything is now completed. Thank you for your consideration.

Hi there! Would you please consider deleting a photo on Fred Eugene Herndon's memorial (the one of the funeral home marker)? His death date has been added to his monument and I would like to post a photo of his side of the marker showing its completion. His monument is in Highland cemetery in Hattiesburg. His memorial number is 100426668. Thank you for your consideration.

|BHITY BHITY||Thank you|
Thank you for photographing the headstone of Coats Nichols. Her full name was; Zemaly Coats Scott Steele Nichols. It was a family tradition for the women in the family to use their second name. She was the wife of Dan Nichols and mother of Anne Shillinglaw who was buried in Lakewood in 2014. I don't know if Coats and her daughter Anne are close to each other and I don't really know if Anne is buried beside her husband Robert Redfield Shillinglaw. I have asked Fran at Findagrave is she can photograph Anne's grave whenever she has time. Once again, Thank you for photographing Coat's grave.

This headstone is difficult to read. I obtained this information from Military Graves Registration 1914-1941 and from Census records. Please, would you change his bio to read:
Son of Thomas M. and Laura Prine
Enlisted to the US Army June 18, 1916 where he served until his death, May 25, 1917. Thomas was killed by a train while serving.
PVT 1ST INF CO D MISS. N. G.

This is duplicate of your memorial #103420558 that created a few days earlier. Would you delete one, please? As you have probably noticed, I'm working on records for Jesse Bryant Cemetery again. Thanks you for all your help.

What is your source for her husband being Charles Ray Allen? "The Name Is McCluney" has her married to Henry Virgil Allen on March 12, 1964 in Hines County, Mississippi.
