Bio and Links
Bio Photo Top quality photos are my goal. I will get the best sun angle, wash the stones, dig dirt to expose buried dates, and retake pictures if I am not satisfied. I belong to the Pioneer Cemetery Commissions in both Marion and Mahaska Counties in Iowa. I will also do Polk, Warren, and Jasper Counties.

Thank you for looking. The information I have comes from a family book researched by Harriet A. Rye Madson, and says he died Dec.4,1989 and is buried at Laurel Hill Des Moines Iowa. His grave must be unmarked. Thanks again Cindy.

Carl you found him, my great grand uncle.
Would you please transfer him to me...there are more things to add to his memorial.

I've searched for him for 5 years, since I began doing family history in Feb 2010...I'm just amazed to find him.

Clary grave photos
Thank you so much for taking the photos of Edwin Clary and Mary Ann Clary Cadwaladers' graves. Although I already had genealogy info on them, it is nice to see the actual stones. They were my great-great-great grandparents.

Vannest Headstone Photos
Dear Carl,
Thank you so much for your photography of this group of Vannest Family Headstones. It's such a classic grouping of children around their parents. And the parents' stone is quite beautiful. You did it justice with your distant & close-up shots. It is greatly appreciated. I live in western New York and am amazed there was no snow in Iowa. Had you taken these some time earlier? I almost didn't ask because of the time of year. Glad you did them.
