This is one of those things you think of when you've called it a day and are in bed. I should have told you the area in which this was occurring. East Tennessee, more specifically in Campbell and Claiborne counties. Thanks for responding to my query. Janet

I see Parrott is one of the names you are researching. I have about half a dozen people who married into my lines and every single one of them started in life using the name Dossett and for some reason they started using the name Parrott. Do you by chance of the story behind that name change? Usually the older generation stayed with Dossett, but by 1900, 1910, their children started using the name Parrott. Why? This has been puzzling me for 15 years and no one knows why. Hope you can help!

Hi terry I see you have found Bruce H Mayhew, his fathers middle name is Washington not white, unless my papaw Bruce didn't really know his dad's middle name. So is it really White or Washington?

Hi Terry,

William Henry Mosier was my great grandmother Emily Mosier Ferrell's brother. I would appreciate your permission to use the photos in my genealogy trees. My great grandmothers grave memorial# is 42933253. Thank you for taking the photos. I know my grandparents Banks and Emily Mosier Ferrell thought the world of Henry.

Thank you, Tammy Dantzler

Hi Terry,

I have just recently discovered the Find A Grave world and I'm hooked! So I began to search for anyone I have lost and I found that you had photographed my grandmothers grave and added it to this website. Thank you for doing so. It means a lot. However, I would like to get her middle name corrected if that would be possible. I would also like to make some family connections for you if your interested. I just signed up this morning so if you interested please contact me.
