Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am constantly tramping through cemeteries in Starke and Lake Counties, Indiana, looking for relatives for the family tree. If I can help someone else in the process, I'd be glad to. If someone wants a memorial transferred, just ask. I'm focusing on the last names of Gappa, Lemke, Huebner, Schacht, Keehn, Byer, Haley, Helms, Giffin, Wilhelm, Schnaufer, and Kaiser for me while I'm working on Swatts, Brooke, Johnson, Mathias, and Vanaman for my cousin.

RE: Neal C. Linn
I had seen it, but somehow I misplaced it on the computer and had put it in with family stones. I am trying to go through that cemetery, because there are so many requests. It is fun and interesting. I really appreciated it when people had posted pictures of my relatives. My family is all from the Midwest and Mass. or Ireland. I am glad to help. Happy hunting!

RE: Effie Dora Wakeman
I'll try to remember to do that and keep a lookout for that name! True, I do not recall ever seeing a "Byer" in my family tree. I have no blood relatives in Minnesota, so it is not surprising from that standpoint. I also have no blood relatives/genealogical connections in Yakima and Whatcom Counties that I can think of. However still it is funny that you're researching Byer in those areas, since I live in Bemidji and am from WA (the county I'm from is a neighboring county to Yakima County!). Funny connections!

RE: Effie Dora Wakeman
You're welcome! I'm glad you agree. That's what I think, too. It also lets people get a definitive answer that there truly is no marker, instead of it being kind of a mystery without a photo posted.
