Southern Illinois, the Salem area has been my home most of my life. Virtually all of my relatives are buried in this area. When I can be of help picture taking let me know. It is sometimes hard to do in the winter time, so because there is a 14 day window to get it done I may not claim all of my requests until the weather is cooperative. But I will do my best on every request.|

In case you have not seen my other post, Mr. Tackett is not listed as being buried in Mountain View Cemetery in Kingman.
I found Mr. Tackett's obituary in the Kingman Daily Miner, published 21 July 1986. It does not list his burial place. It does say "Private funeral services were arranged by Tucker Funeral Home." Tucker Funeral Home is still here in Kingman. I will stop by and see if they will give me any more information about Mr. Tackett. Please let me know if you would like a copy of the obituary. I can scan it and forward it to you.

Ray, You are very welcome! I'm sorry I didn't have all my notes with me today and missed the Tackett markers. I will be back there this week. I did find a Roselyn E. Tackett listed as being buried beside Velma on 10-27-56.

How nice to know there are people who are willing to volunteer and help out those who are working on genealogy. Much appreciated.
