Please when you use the photos that are posted, on ancestry or another public website, give credit to the person who took the photo, not just me, but all who volunteer to help document your ancestry and your roots. It's just good manners and a way of saying thanks! Please do not post elsewhere.

And please think TWICE before posting information about living people.

Please if you want me to add links or make corrections, send me the memorial # for the person and proof of the connection. I can't just make connections because you say this is what you think. Thank you for understanding.

New Picture
Thank You for the new picture of #16396562 Frank Gosney in Butler Cemetery. The stone also includes on another side his mother America Gosney. The new picture for baby Frank my great uncle is so clear. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Rebecca Sutphin Reed

I got your edit which has several parts. My only question is for the change you requested for the death year. It plainly says 1928 on the stone. If it is OK with you, could you send me the documentation you have for that change? I would rather leave it as it appears on the stone and then make a note about the difference that you have found. I am going to accept your edits so that the other changes will be made for me, but then I will go back and change the year back to 1928.

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 25995089
I'm checking to see if I can determine the source of the maiden name. Some of the information is from things I put together 30 years ago and so always the easiest to track down. I did add a link to William Watson, who is also buried in the same lot.

RE: Persimmon Grove
Thanks for the Response. I have just been trying to "clean up" my genealogy file, and have been going through one person at a time (not keeping track of what I have done). My "edits pending" section of Find A Grave is at 206 entries. Give me a few days and I will try and send you a list.

RE: Walter Lickert

I'm not relation at all to the family; I was randomly documenting Alexandria Cemetery a couple of weeks ago and photographed/added memorials for a number of Lickert graves that were in close proximity. Walter, for whom you already created a memorial, was among them. While I was researching to fill out the memorials, I found a family tree denoting Walter as the son of Henry and Anna. Given that he was buried close to them and they are the only family members of child-bearing years in 1897, I was confident in the family tree. I was unable to find any additional verification for Walter, which was no surprise as he was born/died in 1897. Thanks...

Best regards,

RE: William M. Forrester 1856
I appears George was from Indiana and Nancy and children were from Kentucky. To my knowledge they are not related to my line. Thanks

RE: William M. Forrester 1856
I am not sure is he is related and was hoping you knew of his background. I will have to do some research to find out who he was.

William M. Forrester 1856
I am working on my family history for relatives who lived and died in the Newport area 1850 - 1920. Are you related to the William M. Forrester posted on find a grave? My relatives in this area were John, Barbara, William, Mary and Minerva.
