|Melinda Mashburn||Bethel Lutheran Church, White Rock, SC|
Sorry again. I needed to check my info before I spoke. There was a church named High Hill Lutheran Church that had a large cemetery. This church was going to be flooded by the waters of Lake Murray. Lexington Power & Water (now SCE&G) gave family members of the deceased the option of either leaving the grave where it was and erect a monument with their names on it or to move the entire grave and monument to the new Bethel Lutheran Church in White Rock. Many families chose to have the graves moved, but many didn't.
The SC Genealogical Society obtained these records from the power company in 1981 and typed them up. This is where I get my information from. They have a book for sale for $29 that has this information along with many photographs of the graves to be moved.

Minnie Agnes Amick's find a grave information states she was born and died in 1881. Do you know who added this and how they came upon 1881?

|Randy Cannon||Jacob James Cannon|
Jacob James Cannon is also my G-G-Grandfather and I appreciate the picture. I have been looking for that for years, since I saw on at a Cannon family reunion.
I am interested in the Confederate Records. You have some that I do not have. I do not have the records as far as after POW status. Do you have this info?
|jonathan merritt||Laura E Cannon|
My name is Jonathan Merritt and I am friends with a man named Chevis Langston(CC) who is trying to complete his family history.
He is trying to locate information on Laura E Cannon who Married a Langston who died at Gettysburg. what we can not find is after Laura married John Belton Glymph, when did she die and where was she buried. I have discovered that John Belton apparently committed suicide and CC also wants to find his grave as well. Do you have any info on these two folks. I don't find them in the glymph cemetery in pomaria unless they have unmarked graves. If John belton shot himself, he may have been penniless and was not put in the cemetery. I don't know

|Vladimir Enlow||Hello, Miss Faye!|
Had no idea there was someone I knew on the site, let alone someone who's been so active.
I'm an occasional lurker and commenter who's been away from it for a while. My interest has been whetted by moving to a new apartment that's within a stone's throw of three large cemeteries. Maybe I can start adding a few photos to the site.
Wishing you all the best... e-mail me at jlve at live dot com if you're interested in catching up.
yes I did find her..she was buried in florida
