RE: Brehmer Twins (John Philip Jr and Arthenia
Thank you John.
Do you have any idea how I would go about getting permission to search the Govenor Creek Cemetery records? Or for that matter the Nelson Cemetery records? Lydia was my grandmother and it doesn't make sense that she would bury the twins someplace other than her family's cemetery. Why would she bury them in a strange place?? How would I find records other than death certs? I know (from personal observations) that they (death certs)aren't always right!! Because John Philip Brehmer's death cert states that he was a widower when he died and indeed he was married to my grandmother Lydia at the time of his death.
Thanks for any info you might be able to share...

Brehmer Twins (John Philip Jr and Arthenia
John, do you have documents showing that the twins
John Phillip Brehmer Jr and Arthenia Brehmer, were buried here? Death certificates say Governor Cemetery. I would like to add headstones if they are indeed here and someone pointed out the grave(s) location. I don't think there is a headstone for them or my grandmother (their mom) Lydia Adaline Nelson Brehmer.
I have been looking for their grave sites for quiet some time.
You may contact me or send me an e-mail here asking and I will return a phone # to you.
Thanks for any info.

Maplewood Cemetery
Is there a phone number for Maplewood Cemetery? I have diligently searched online and can not find one. I am searching for Ivey L Williams Sanderson B: Jan 22 1903 D: Feb 6 1982 Kinston(my Grand Aunt) Married to Rudolph Ashley Sanderson B: Oct 22 1896 D: May 23 1981. Ashley as he was called has Mother Peannie Hill Sanderson, Father Jonas Sanderson and 3 Brothers Leslie, Artie, and Woodrow all buried in Maplewood and one brother Archie buried in Westview.
I feel like they are probably buried in Maplewood and there is just no Find A Grave memorial page for them. If I could call the cemetery they could tell me. Thanks for any assistance you might be able to give and a huge thank you for all the work you do to insure that loved ones are not "Lost Souls"! Donna Wilkins
