RE: Re: Anna Mary Losh or Lash
Great, I did not want to be an enemy! Yes names can be very frustrating. I usually look the person up, but in most cases I take the birth name AND the death, usually I add the death name after making sure it is correct. In the Mary Losh case I added what all knew her and did not know at that time I could enter both names on Find A Grave. This family stayed with Losh, many revert to Lash. And like I said many pronounce Lash with short A and say Losh and many get tired of correcting so they use Losh for spelling, Very confusing! Will add you to friend list if you there thanks again, thanks for info as well! Harry

I am sorry you took my comments negatively as some novices do but I did not want to offend. This is the problem on many sites, they just slap on a memorial with out adding relationships or any connections. Find A Grave is for making memorials for loved ones 1st, genealogy is 2nd, but still a great part of it. You make me sound like an o gar! I do not know you, Did you not see a list of the family, not I put it on. They are all LASH~~~~ and in Ohio this family used Losh, some of them also moved to Chicago, Ill. I myself try to put in the memorial both names, as many and I thought you too do not realize about multiple spellings and is so important! (ex Miller is also Mueller) Many on here do NOT like to be corrected. You do not have to be professional on this site, but be correct as it gives multiples listed and wrong persons but we can look up on other pay sites to confirm. Sorry you took my explanation negative, I did not realize. I must learn to explain things more simplistic for some persons. At any rate Mary Losh is also Mary Lash no matter what certain records say or what ever problem that you had with the memorial. Thanks for emailing and be well. Keep up good work. Thanks

RE: Ann Mary Lash or Losh
Mis Wood if this is on FindAGrave please include #
What is your problem? Lash's are in this country over 300 years. Last names changed over those years. Anyone that does genealogy knows this. My G-G=Grandfather was born Lasch but when he was later found to Lash. Lash was pronounced Losh because of um lots, German. My relatives in another state besides Pa. were Lash and changed to Losh. You need to learn this and a bit of geography to look up families. NOW what is problem and WHO are you looking at. you did not even give me a 1st name. And which Hastings Cemetery, there are over 20 in this country,,,,, let me know.
