HI, I have been researching my Genealogy since July of 2000. I really enjoy visting Cemeteries and takeing pictures. Headstones are so awesome, they come in all different shape, sizes, Colors, and the engravings express how someone was feeling at the time this person died. I believe you can some what see what kind of a person was by their headstone. And sometime a headstone is all that is left on this earth. I lived in Wyoming, Michigan |

I looked on line at Ancestry and see you have information there as well. What caught my eye was a Probate record dated Feb 7 1878 and Obituary in Hoosic Valley Dec 1,1888. Are these items you actually have in your possession and could share with me?

I also added memorials for his wife Nellie, son Frederick, and two other Carr's buried in the same plot (Neil and wife Arvilla).

no - dates are very faded - I was lucky just to find her stone and pull back the sod.

I was able to get out and get your photo request for Francis Shaver this afternoon, and posted it to the memorial. The stone is quite worn, but it is the correct stone. IF you need a headstone rubbing of it, let us know... Also, this headstone is directly next to June and Della Shaver. I included a "better" photo on their memorials also. Have a great weekend. Megan

I spent 3 hours searching for these headstones, but did not find any of them. I did find George & Hannah Prior who are buried in Sec 37 Space 25, so I know I was in the correct area for Mary & Infant Parker.
This is an old cemetery with many broken or illegible headstones and many unmarked graves.
Please consider removing your request for Mary, Almira & Infant Parker.

Just curious as if you were directly related to Henry Fosburg (15564297)? This is the information I have gathered about him ...I agree with you that he married Mittie in 1898 as well as the other women. However, you stated in the bio portion that Mittie was his first wife. This is not correct. When he married her he was about 70. His first wife he married around 1850, probably before that considering how his 6 children where born between 1850 and 1868. I can not find a marriage record for them, however she is listed in the census as Amanda and in the marriage records of her children as Martha. Last name being Breasted or some version of that.

|Laurie LaPage||Ellis' in Franklin Co., NY|
Hi, I've been trying to fulfill some of your photo requests here in the northern part of Franklin Co, NY, specifically the Malone area. When doing Henry Ellis' grave in the Morningside Cemetery, I also took photos of the Ellis graves right next to Henry's. I don't know if they are any of your Ellis ancestors but I thought they may be as they were side by side in the cemetery. You can view them by visiting the Morningside site on Find A Grave, and just type in Ellis.
I also did the ones at Maplewood Cemetery in Malone and I looked up Selim on our historical newspapers and found a short obituary as well as another article chronicling his demise. Another one told of Henry losing a leg in the Civil War and of another brother (James, maybe?) being killed in the Civil War. Didn't know if you had those articles?
I probably won't do any more photos until warmer Spring weather...my camera doesn't like the cold. If we get a nice sunny day before alot of snow arrives, I might be able to do some.
Take care, LLaPage
