I have been doing my genealogy for many years and try to find primary proofs of any of my records. I love going to cemeteries and taking pictures, then trying to locate Obituary, death notices, land records and probate records. I did most of my work in person at court houses and clerk's offices. My husband and I traveled all over the United States and Canada gathering records of our families. Always try to help out on Find-a-grave. With nearly 20 years of a week at the Morman Library in Salt Lake City I have gathered a lot of info. Sometimes I can't get to places and really appreciate when someone will go out and photo grave stones and get records for me.

RE: Three Rivers Cemetery, California
We could use the Snow (Water) here in California!
I take pics on fair winter days waiting for rainy days and we have not had any! Take them when you can! Pictures are always nice on the memorials. Any help you do is always appreciated! Rose

RE: Three Rivers Cemetery, California
I have lots more info on this family! I just did not know where the connections were! I was a neighbor to Joe and Sue Davis and after some research to find out that they were distant relatives! Rose

The Lady in Black
Schaarschmidt family @ Woodmere in Detroit
Hi there:

I took a photo of your uncle Herbert's stone at Woodmere, and now I've come across three more Schaarschmidts:

Hugo J Schaarschmidt:

His wife, Florence:

And, their son, Charles, also in the US Navy in WWII:

Those are the only three Schaarschmidts that I maintain. Are they related to your uncle, and if so, would you like a transfer of all three? Let me know.

Take care,

RE: Autust Tice Photo
Yes, August A. Tice, Jr. was my cousin, his father was my great uncle on my father's side. His father and my great grandfather were brothers. I'm new at building my family tree, but I have a lot of good records, so it's going pretty quickly. When I was home in August, I went to Oak Grove Burying Ground in Taylor and found my Great Great Grandparents, and many other relatives. At that time I didn't even know about Augustus and his family. Thanks again for the picture. Bless you for the work you do.

You are welcome. I found a copy of the obituary for Charles' wife Jacqueline Church and posted it to her memorial for you.
