Bio and Links
Bio Photo Simply enjoy genealogy and preserving history.

I make mistakes if you tell me, I will fix them.

If they are family, I will gladly transfer.

My aim is to honor the past. Items added to biographies are typically information I receive via email from unknown contributors and post to memorial. I do NOT fact check so take it for what it's worth...further research.

THE STORY TELLERS by unknown
We are the chosen. My feelings are, in each family, there is one who seems
called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live
again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and
approve. To me, doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but,
instead, breathing life into all those who have gone before. We are the
storytellers of the tribe. All tribes have one.
We have been called, as it were, by our genes. Those who have gone before
cry out to us: Tell our story.

Auby Toby Tarleton Seaboalt
Carol, Thanks for updating Dock Seaboalt's memorial. I appologize for making an error in my edit submission by placing his third given name in the maiden name field and it made his name Tarleton be displayed in Italics and his nickname "Dock" appear between Toby and Tarleton instead of after Tarleton. Since Find A Grave only has blank fields for two given names, I don't know if this can be fixed or not. I will try EDIT one more time and see if I can get it right.

Dock was my grandmother Mary Jane Seaboalt Wolverton's first cousin. His son, John Edgar Seabolt (now deceased), sent me a bio about Dock about 10 years ago. I will see if I can condense it some and submit it for his Find A Grave bio. Thanks again for your work.

The above person is incorrectly linked. Please remove the links to parents and siblings so that her memorial can be corrected. Thank you for your help.

Mary A. Davis
The tombstone inscription is Mary A., wife of J.W. Davis. My records show her as the first wife of John William (Will) Davis. They had the following children: Viola Mary Davis, 1896-1989;Zula Davis, b. 1897, Livie Davis, b. 1900; Rose Davis, b. 1902, and Vida Davis, b. 1904; and Annie May, b. 1908. Mary died in 1908 and J. W. subsequently married Opal Holder, and six more children were born to them.

I do not know Mary A.'s parents names.

Tarrant Co.TX. Hoit Charles Stevens
I am a Vermont Civil War Buff and am presently working on a project to identify the last resting place of many of our "old soldiers". Hoit Charles Stevens is one of those patriots. May I use the photo you contributed to his Find A Grave memorial page, to post on the Vt.C.W. site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)

You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
