Currently I am working with the Dunklin County Genealogy Society to transcribe the cemeteries in Dunklin Co.

Anyone who wants ownship of the photo entry can contact me and I will be glad to transfer the ownship to them.

When you request a photo of a grave, please give as much info as you can. Sometimes when a cemetery is large it is time consuming and almost impossible to locate. Please keep in mind that many of these markers are old and time worn. They are hard to read. I am trying to find as much info as possible by searching thru the cemetery records of the Dunklin Co. Genealogy Society, the on-line death records held by the Secretary of State, and maybe obits. If you see a mistake, please let me know.

We have finished photographing all the markers in Marsh-Hazel cemetery except large one which is face down on ground. Hope to get someone to help either upright it or turn over to see info without doing any damage.

Sacred Heart Cemetery has been photographed as well.

Please keep in mind that many of these markers are old and time worn or damaged. Many times we have had to research and make best guess decisions about the info. If you have additional info that would help clarify, please let us know.

We have finish with Oak Ridge Cemetery on recording name's and picture of markers.
We started in 2009 and finish July 2011, so there may be markers not recorded. We divided cemetery into seven sections. The roads divide the sections with sect. 1 on north side & sect 7 on the south side.

If memorial has been entered by someone other than me and you want to know location, have someone to look at names on either side of marker then go to Findagrave and look at plot location.
