Find A Grave volunteers have worked hard on documenting families which in turn leaves a legacy for future generations. If one person reconnects with their family & learns of their ancestral heritage via data, headstone photos or links on the site, then it's all worth the time.
Thanks to the Find A Gravers that have transferred to my account! Especially the ones with the big numbers that feel that memorials belong in the hands of family.
Wishing all smooth sailing with discovering your ancestors with no brick walls in your path.
Peace to all that are here and beyond.
P.S. I post & care for mostly my direct ancestor lines but I do manage memorials in Mount Olivet Cemetery (Chester County, Pennsylvania), Rosemary Cemetery (Sarasota, Florida) & South Whitley Cemetery (South Whitley, Indiana). Please check the virtual cemeteries on my profile for your family, no matter the relation & ask for a transfer.

I added you to my Find A Grave Friends. Hope that's okay. You may add me to yours if you like. I will let your cousin Jim know how you are related Sandra

I am helping a grandson of Minnie Ellen Steele Semple with his family research. He is wondering if you are a cousin on the Steele side and where you fit in the tree? another Sandra (SLM on Find-A-Grave).

|Brian Keith Rick||Judy and Nix families|
My name is Brian Rick.
I had seen where you research the Judy and Nix families. I also research those families for my Ancestry file, but have not been able to do any research for Findagrave for those families.
I descend from Mary Judy who married Elias Rice.
She was the daughter of Samuel Judy and Sarah "Sally" Nix.
I would greatly appreciate if you have any information on Elias Rice who married Mary Judy.
I have no information beyond their names and where they are buried.

May I offer a suggestion?
There is a pirated Union Cemetery index floating around on the internet which has quite a bit of erroneous information in it. It gives me and the cemetery issues on a regular basis. So if you would please contact the cemetery directly. The staff is courteous and very helpful. Their records are very accurate.
Their phone number is 614 267-5471

Sandra, I entered the data for St Catherines from a spread sheet shared with me by the Parish office. All of the photos were added later on. It was a massive undertaking so some errors were expected. I have repaired this one. Thanks for helping set the record straight!
|Bill Adams||Adams Transfers|
Once again my thanks to you. What a kind gesture.
|Bill Adams||Nancy Adams Bartlett|
I appreciate the transfer. Thank you. I wish all F.A.G'ers were as considerate

The Courier & Press with that obituary is dated 1940.
|LaVerne Greear Bloemker||FAG memorial #66953536|
Sandra - thank you for posting the memorial for Nancy Bartlett Wriston in Bartlett Cemetery in Edwardsvill, IL. Do you have any additional information on her death date of 9/25/1854? I am trying to verify the correct date of birth for her son Martin Luther Wriston (Find A Grave # 88975723). It is listed as 15 Sep 1855 in the Illinois Deaths and Stillbirths Index, 1916-1947 (he died in 1922). Did Nancy die 9/25/1855 instead of 1854, just 10 days after her son was born? Or was he born in 1854? Census records list other dates for him - 1852 and 1859. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
