Genealogy has been a hobby of mine for 38+ years now. I started searching Find A Grave for information on my own family lines, then became a member and added a few memorials and tombstone photographs. Things have slowly grown from there.|
If I'm managing a memorial for one of your relatives, please let me know. I will gladly transfer any memorial not in my own direct line. Just use the edit tab on the memorial and include your Find A Grave member number with your request. Please indicate your relationship to the person on the memorial in your request.
ATTENTION: I want to make sure that proper credit is given for any photograph posted in my name in Henderson, McLean, and Webster counties in Kentucky. Those photographs were taken by and posted with the permission of my Find A Grave friend, Karen Waddell. Karen and I have formed a sort of Find A Grave partnership where I set up the memorials and she does the leg work of visiting and photographing the cemeteries. Some photographs she posts herself but a great many she forwards on to me for posting. If you want to thank someone for a tombstone photograph which I have posted for one of your relatives in those counties, please send your thanks to Karen. She deserves it!

It appears a lot of the memorial you are managing are in the book . It is a wonderful enexpensive book . He did a wonderful job in making notes. I ordered it from Henderson Library . And have read it from one end to the other. He writes births deaths. daily events in the community . Thanks Dana
Thank you for the great photos, Lynn - I did change that death month - just checked it on family tree, but I think the month "indicator" just jumped, as it sometimes does, on findagrave & I failed to double check it. They are parents of my brother-in-law.
Thanks again for all the help - I'm not so good at photos, but if you ever need pedigree research, rattle my chain...that's what I do for volunteer work.
Cheers~ Shirleen [history4sure]
Lynn: Thank you so much for the burial information on the Bowmans at Larkin Gardens - I appreciate your thoughtfulness to allow me to move them. Information from their grandson was what I originally used, thanks for the correction on our mistake.

Hi Lynn. I think you and I have spoken in the past but I can remember if I was granted permission or not. I'd like to post the photo of some Robertson graves and I put a note of credit to the person who took the photo under the photo in Ancestry. I recall you mentioning she takes the photos and you upload them to the memorials. Would it be possible to get permission to post them on my ancestry.com file???

Thank you very much for the pictures, they were very good quality. Thank you also for creating the memorial for Maxine and adding the obit, which I did not have. I appreciate your time and effort and contributions to find-a-grave.

Was doing some research in my tree, and found Hayes Rager was buried in Fernwood Cemetery and he was not on findagrave, so I got him added. Then I found his daughter, Mable Sue, buried there also. Could you link him to Hayes Rager please. memorial # 125301615. Sure would appreciate it. Thank you.
Thank you so much for getting the pic of her headstone..
